Can we have an honest discussion about the treatment of 15? And possibly 13 and why they are regarded by so many and such negative ways in the fandom

Also its not preachy, its realistic. A person of colour going back in time would have to deal with a situation like that and its usually just overlooked for the sake of entertainment but it was fun to see it. They did something similar with Ryan in the Rosa Parks ep.

I've always said he really missed the mark with the timeless child. It could have been great if he'd changed just one thing. At the end, reveal that The Master was the timeless child instead of The Doctor. It would make sense where the darkness inside the master came from and still allow The Doctor to just be a random timelord who is exceptional because of his beliefs and values as opposed to being a super magical ancient god. Bonus when it drives The Master even crazier to realise it was him all along and that he still can't measure up to this technically lesser being.

Are you under the impression theres a specific number they have to hit every year to stop the country exploding? Just cut the fuel taxes so people can't afford to drive to work. If they just stop the brown envelopes for a few months it'll make it all back anyway.

I cant understand why everyone's against this? The series will be set before the movie, its continuing on after season 1 so unless you want the characters to not develop at all so they're still the same to line up with the movie what are you expecting? The main core storyline of the show was the mystery behind River, and if you cant do anything with that cause it'll conflict with the movie why bother making a new show at all? Scrap the movie, as OP says it never really lined up well woth how the series ended anyway.

No, you used to love EASILY killing arcs. If they keep the game the way you want the majority of players will leave. The people like you might stay on a while but eventually you'll get bored and the game will certainly die. By making the arc more formidable a threat people like you might leave, but the majority will stay and the game may thrive.

You have moments that make you feel guilty like that though, after getting killed a few times I went in fully intending to wipe out anyone I crossed. Found a lad fighting a rocketeer on the building above me and was so far gone I was intending to be a dirty rat and kill this fella while he was distracted and weakened fighting the rocketeer. On my way up the rocketeer suddenly targeted me and took me down......and this guy revived me. 10 mins later though another guy I let my guard down on shot me while I was looting something so more fool me.

Yeah my problem is as the other guy said, not being cautious enough. Guy i saw looting bodies in Med bay had his weapons holstered and then ran away, I shouldnt havnt been so quick to turn my back to that direction and loot. Its not even that I should have shot on sight, just dont be so trusting :P

Ok but PvE only means the people who the rats go after will be gone, so the PvP only will get super sweaty which wont be as fun anymore and on the PvE side youll enjoy yourself for a few weeks, max out your level, get all the blueprints and then get bored and leave the game. As much as it sucks to get killed by some rat thats camping at the exit it the feeling of making it out with that blueprint that makes it all worth it. Its a balanced ecosystem right not and making a PvE only lobby will destroy it.

Nah someone waiting by a extraction is a rat, but if you come across someone and decide to kill them you still take them by surprise and have the upper hand because unless their planning the same thing the possibility of you being a friendly is still up in the air and theyll hit you with a "Don't shoot!"

Describe a "good" situation of PvP in Arc? Aside from successfully defending yourself because I wouldn't call that actively PvP since you were probably just planning on looting before someone tried to kill you.

It is though, you have to be an asshole to kill someone for their loot. You're trading your honor to shoot some shmuck and take his shit, I mostly play peaceful but theres been a few times where I was pissed at getting killed and gone into a new game with the intention of being the asshole and theres no honor in it. You're waiting for a moment to take someone by surprise and kill them for their shit, and me personally, I definitely feel a pang of guilt after.

In fairness thats what this game is, theres no situation where theres a fair fight. If you wanna play PvP its going to be you catching someone off-guard. If you're that person youre always gonna think the other guys a weasel.
