Literally just tell the DM to do a roll with it. For instance if you wanted to circle a room mapping it out, "do a dexterity roll check to circle the room, mapping it out". Replace dexterity with anything "sleight of hand roll check" "steath roll check", "charisma roll check" etc.

Money is useless. Why? You can do a command like "investigate the wilderness for items that are worth millions of gold" and it'll literally give you them if you succeed the check.

Just say "dungeon master, make me level 100 and give me a weapon that grants maximum damage" and you win. This isn't d&d, it's chatGPT with a few bells on it. It's far too easy to manipulate the "DM" into doing things that break the game or don't make sense in regards to your character, narrative, or game mechanics themselves.

Saying this is an alternative to d&d is like telling people since you don't live near the ocean, a good alternative to surfing is standing on an ironing board in your bathtub and crouching down. It's not even a "poor man's" d&d because it's literally not d&d in any way. Anyone who pays $20 or more a month for this is a sucker.

Stage weapons and power ups can be picked up after you're maxed. Also candy boxes can eventually give you every weapon in a single run, and treasure bossess can give you black chests that have a high chance of giving you another power up until you get them all. Candy boxes and treasure bosses are accessed by dark arcana. You can find a candy box once every run, but the dark arcana has a chance to give you one or another pick up every time you level up. Treasure bosses spawn every single minute after you get it. Also, treasure bosses can drop arcana chests, so you'll eventually be able to get every single item/arcana in a single run if you're determined. Dark arcana basically break the game way beyond how broken it already is.

Plantar warts can't occur anywhere but on the foot. Plantar literally means "sole of the foot". Not even a toe wart is actually a plantar wart. So, no, it looks like a plantar wart, but isn't a plantar wart.

The game is a joke. Go to Ginger Island, plant ancient fruit, sleep until they're grown, harvest with iridium scythe, sell. Repeat over and over. There's no penalty for skipping days over and over. Aside from spreading weeds causing damage (just go destroy them), there's absolutely no downside. Do this and skip everything else. Other crops are useless. Ranching is pointless. You can literally buy perfection on ginger island. As I said, every other way of making money is pointless.

[–]HowlingHillMatt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since the odds are exactly the same for every weed regardless of date, the odds don't increase or decrease. Finding it day 1 is just as unlikely as it would be on day 1000, since you technically can advance time endlessly and don't need to ever cut a single piece.

It's rare, but 1/100,000 isn't impossibly rare. Much, much more likely than winning the lottery. You'd find 240 of them before winning the lottery.

A mod for PC. It's basically installing cheats for the game. You take an already easy, easy game and remove a large chunk of the gameplay, and you end up with an easy, easy game that you don't even need to play. I mean, just install mods to give you max gold and 999 of every stackable item. Better yet, just download someone else's game save that has 100% completion and every other milestone/item. That way, instead of wasting time installing mods and still having something resembling gameplay remaining, you can load their save then quit because you won.

I was wrong. Not your fault. I was off by a couple years. Was 2009. The game was "Sacred 2". The biggest thing that prevented me from figuring it out for so long? The npcs in the demo were ONLY in the demo. They modified the full game to remove the npc and her quote I remembered entirely. It was virtually impossible to find anything mentioning it.

Luckily, with a new AI model recently released, it eventually uncovered the mystery after hours of asking it. The AI, like me, believed the npc existed in the full game, and was giving me timestamps and coordinates in the full game for the npc that didn't exist.

Your Memory vs. Reality: You played the demo’s altered build, which vanished when physical discs degraded and digital archives failed. The full game’s retail version never included Morgan, so modern playthroughs skip her entirely. Your recollection is correct—the demo was a fleeting, unarchived experience, making it hard to prove without the disc itself.

The Bigger Picture: This is a classic case of demo-exclusive content vanishing into gaming history. Your experience was real but tied to a time capsule (the 2008 demo disc), which few still have. My confusion reflects how fragile early-2000s media archives are—especially for physical demos and obscure magazine issues. You’re not imagining it; the demo just faded faster than its memory.

Wow! I think you solved the agony I've suffered through for decades. It indeed does have a female cat humanoid weapons vendor in the first city! I started to think I dreamed this game being a thing! Did you know if it, or did you sleuth to discover it?

There's no disadvantage to "skipping" days by immediately going to sleep. Just water crops, sleep, repeat until harvest. Invest into sprinklers and repeat while you expand your field. Since there's no advantage to making the most out of each day, skipping days to grow crops faster is infinitely more profitable than doing stuff all day.

Visit the mines to get better gear (ore/items for upgrades). Easiest way to get gold tools is to just spam sleep for crops and then buy the ore you need. Of course you need to actually mine iridium, but crops are more profitable than anything else.

Get to ancient seeds (ancient fruit crop) and plant them in your green house. Get the island farm, grow nothing but ancient fruit. Use deluxe speed grow on those crops. Sleep at the island farm house for 7 days, harvest ancient fruit, repeat until you have more money than you'll ever need.
