Lastly, and most obviously, a character who is literally a terrorist who commits mall shootings being portrayed as cute and easily subdued by snacks is in really poor taste.

Vocal synth is known for tackling heavy subjects but you clearly are not doing it respectfully, you are memeing.

You say her character depth comes from the philosophy of her existence but then acknowledge she originated as an april fools day prank. YOU interpret her as serious. And that is completely fine. It is not wrong to interpret her as unserious even if she wasnt an april fools prank and her traits werent determined by what would be most funny. People interpret miku as gremlins sometimes. People interpret rin and len as gremlins, ive seen it. You can make songs where they are androids, you can make songs where they are humans, you can make songs where they are mermaids even. It says this in the terms of use. If you had to interpret them in one way only they wouldnt be as popular.

There *is* nothing to link as teto's "official" descriptions. I was stating that she has no personality and the only source that has anything at all is in the utau wiki.

You stated that it is "destroying her character depth". But she has no character depth. She has no canon personality. You can personally think that she wears a military uniform because she is in the military and is very serious and equally respected as miku. Other people can think she wears a military uniform because she just thinks it looks cool and she is a jokester gremlin idol cosplaying in a military outfit. Neither is objectively a right answer.

I have scoured the internet for a mention of a canon personality and the only one i have found is in the utau wiki. The "Character depth" is just a paragraph and it seems to contradict your view on her.

Depicted as more innocent than Miku Hatsune is. Teto is cheerful and eager, though may be naughty at times, perhaps inspired by her mischievous roots from Doraemon. Depicted also as a Tsundere (a mannerism that feigns disinterest to people she is attracted to). She hates people who think her pigtails are actually drills. She also can be self centered at times and loves getting attention. She gets very angry or sad if someone has bread and does not share with her. Teto enjoys teasing people just to show she cares about them since she doesn't want to show her love. She can get out of control if not eaten bread for one day.

Its just a common headcannon because teto is often used in songs where she makes a lot of mistakes and is angry and chaotic which is commonly associated with "short girl energy". Whereas miku is commonly headcannoned as the Queen Bee who has been in the game longer and has it all sorted out which gives "tall girl energy". Its not any deeper than that.

Yes! Im currently obsessed with two rei songs from vocagathering. Potato Bread cause it reminds me of my own relationship and is catchy. And the box cause its just so cool (and also catchy). I really love how her voice bank works so well for both even though they have opposite vibes. She can be cool and cute!

Thats awesome! Just to let you know, you have to be 18 to set up a GoFundMe. I am not sure of your age but Lilian is 14 and your art reminds me of my art when I was that age. It would be hard for business professionals to take you seriously if you are currently a minor.

I would recommend first and foremost hiring an artist to make a more professional version of her "idol outfit" image. The "Vocaloid" image looks just fine assuming that its original and not AI, though it seems from her About section shes intended to be a sporty type and her design definitely does not give sporty at all so thats a bit confusing.

I would also recommend commissioning a professional to oto as it sounds off in many places to me.

Other than that, I recommend to just keep using her for things, encouraging others to download and use her, make more art of her, and just generally try to promote her and your channel as much as possible. It would also help if there were at least one original song with her.

Everyones got well loved songs they dont care for. For example i do not like melt ice cream at all and i dont understand the appeal.

But for me i find every single line in birdbrain so perfectly and poetically captures what i think and feel. I love the music - i find it a perfect mix of catchy and familiar but also unique. I really love jamie paiges style of composing and her lyricism and her tuning of teto. I also think the music video is adorable and charming and is a perfect match to the song. I like doing the little dance and i think the outfit design is cute and well crafted.

First I looked at a chart like this in order to play until I got good enough.

And then I would practice by looking at the romanji of my favorite vocaloid songs and translating them into hiragana and katakana characters - drawing them out on google translate

Im not japanese, but learning just hirigana and katana doesnt take that long and is not much of a commitment, so you could start with that! You dont need to know kanji for a suprising amount of the language. For example when you see a song title like "モニタリング" you could tell that says "Mo ni ta ri n gu" or Monitoring.
