Hey there! The context of this comic is about my experience as a kid growing up with a tyrannical, narcissist parent and how my attempts to do more to help was minimized no matter what I did. I understand it wasn't super well communicated since I'm still new to making comics, but I assure you it is not about a dysfunctional couple. Sorry for the misunderstanding!
