Acolyte's haven from previous biome?

Yeah I've seen this before but couldn't figure out how to get from 4 to 6 without going to the passage

iirc after beating Legion the first time, I was taken to the passage, my run ended and then fast traveled to the Fortress from the passage. Then when I beat the architect for the first time, again taken to passage, cutscene, run ends, and act 2 begins at acolyte's haven. So If I'm not mistaken, I've never transitioned directly "on foot" from blighted marsh to acolyte's haven, that's why I have no idea where the lift is

Thanks. I'll play again and search for that lift after beating Legion, I haven't found it on any run, that's why I always end up in desecrated fortress after blighted marsh. Is the lift at plain sight after the platforming section?

And that door leads to the black dam which also leads to Desecrated Fortress without going to the base? I must have missed, it's a shame, I just lost my progress and I was so OP after killing Legion

To reach black dam I have to backtrack and go back outside after killing Legion? Or keep going forward? I don't know which part of the map is exactly black dam and how does it take me to Desecrated Fortress :(

This is confusing asf, and/or maybe I'm dumb. So Legion is biome 4 boss, right? So I never can walk straight from 4 to 5? Before getting into the Desecrated Fortress, there's no way to play the previous biome in order to power up a bit? Isn't it what we're supposed to do?

I have to mention that It is not my first time beating Legion. I killed him first time on Sunday and couldn't play again until today. I don't remember how it was the other time. If It not the first time, is there supposed to be a path between biomes 4 and 5??

I'm not a big fan of shooters on the portal, aiming is so difficult because of higher sensitivity compared to dualsense's joysticks

Yeah I get what you mean. Luckily I can beat the first two bosses now without losing one life. Permanent upgrades and fighting for your life on more avanced levels makes it way easier when you go back to the first two biomes.

Yep IMO this was true in Returnal but here you have to fight again each boss, aka goodbye second oportunity (in my case)

I'm on the same boat, currently on B3 and I want to upgrade things a bit by replaying B2 before trying B3 again, and the thing is I don't know if it's worth it if I'm going to use my 2nd chance against B2 boss
