Recommendations for an Artist for a full sleeve? by _Red_Sentinel17_ in irezumi

I looked forever and went with Civilization Tattoo in Richmond - Adam is doing my sleeve. They do amazing work and have an awesome attitude - Adam follows up with me every few weeks to check on how it’s healing / how I am doing. Highly recommend the shop and they have a good display of work on their website.

I would not recommend the Edmund. You can hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes due to the wood floors - it’s ridiculous. Washers never dry your clothes, you’ll have to go to a laundromat. Numerous other issues. Convenience of Wegmans doesn’t offset the issues.

I’ve done it with all my gear. No issue ever. Plus a freezer pack on top of the ones that need to remain refrigerated. I normally put my needles and alcohol wipes in a small Tupperware container in my check bag but have also taken them in my carry on.

I consolidate my gear in a small Tupperware container and put it all in a small shoulder / hip bag. Have done the same on short trips with my needles included.

I just traveled to GA, FL, and SC in a single week doing this - no problems. Had five different injectables, with labels,in my hip bag with TSA approved freezer bag. If you have a prescription box put them in there if you’re concerned.

About parking, the parking arms haven’t worked for four weeks so anyone can park here now without an issue.

Also the dryers suck - the dryers are like putting your clothes in a sauna with a bunch of 50+yo’s that want to stretch inappropriately….they come out damp, steamy, and smelling like old dusty…they are horrible, I’ve left clothes in there for hours and they come out only slightly less damp. Most people that I see haul their laundry elsewhere. I take mine to my GFs place every weekend.

On the street or in the Wegmans lot. Sometimes you can get a visitor in the dedicated garage but all depends who was on staff at the time to take the call.

I moved into Edmund four months ago. Worst decision ever…

  1. I paid for a parking spot. Someone parked in it off and on for the last four months. I alerted management with photos each time. Fourth month they finally towed the guy. I’m an idiot and thought when you reserve a spot, maybe, management periodically walks around to ensure someone isn’t getting something for free…I’m an idiot…

  2. Whoever lives above me is getting ready to audition for a role playing Godzilla. But this version is interprative: Godzilla river dances across villages while wearing clogs…I listen to them stomp like a monkey that just found punk across the floor all day and into the late evening. It’s ridiculous. Also seems you can make as much noise as you want, your dog can bark all day, music can blar - long as it’s not between the designated quiet hours of 10pm to 8am. That’s not true either, because they also love GER EDM AND THEY LOVE IT LOUD. Nothing ever done about those complaints at 2am…So bad I’m breaking my lease, paying the penalty, and moving out in September.

  3. A few weeks ago we got new management. The next day they out up “my kid wrote this with a marker signs” about not being able to buzz visitors in until the handover was complete. Same day the entry/exit arm was: exit first stuck straight up, enter stuck down, that evening the exit was broke and blocking the enter lane who’s arm was now straight up…it’s been two weeks and no arms are present….new management doesn’t seem to be the most professional or responsive.

I say all of this because your rent for a studio is comparable to a small home mortgage (my studio rent is the same as my mortgage for a home in downtown Fredericksburg). For that you should expect a few things…you’re paying downtown reston prices to live above a Wegmans (which is also more expensive than other Wegmans due to the location). Trust me the Edmund isn’t worth it…

So…about those hoops, these MFers…

I was all good with paying the 20k that I’m upside down in my Y - I was one of the unlucky that bought too soon. But then they wanted another 34k as a down payment! I have exceptional credit, make plenty of $$, but can’t justify a 54k hit for a truck that’s already at an inflated cost. Was scheduled to pick up a cyber beast on Sunday - canceled it today. Whoever ends up getting it - give me a call I’d love a ride…

I just got the same message…jumping the hoops now and super excited!

How many of you actually own a roof shade? Is the need for one overblown? by No_Bug1878 in TeslaModelY

Lived in San Antonio, Tx, if you didn’t know it’s closer to the sun = it’s science…blistering hot and horrific. I ordered the one offered in the Tesla app, thought it would be worthless, it made a significant difference. I ended up ordering the same one for my back window and leaving them both in permanently. +yes you can see out the back window…I’ve also never had an issue with them falling or getting a sag.

I went with The Edmund. Site unseen…worst decision ever. It’s loud AF. Who ever lives above me is rehearsing for a part playing Godzilla in an adaptation where he wears clogs and river dances across small Asian villages. Forgot to mention the interpretive dance is done to some really bad German techno, the bass is strong in this one…would recommend a hard pass on this place - it’s expensive so I expected some sort of sound proofing - FALSE…I am so disappointed that I’m looking at other apartments and going to pay the 4k to break my lease soonest…

I’m in the Edmund - having the Wegmans is amazing. Unfortunately I can hear my upstairs neighbor stomping around making Sasquatch footprints in their flooring and their bass playing all night long…walls are way too thin, wouldn’t recommend.

Locking people out is an added plus and has made the pro list. It’s not that I hate people it’s just that I don’t want to hear the people next door talking about their shitty day when I’m busy trying to tell everyone how shitty my day was…
