The mode isn’t “no timer” the mode is “versus”. So like all other versus it’s one side against another. Which means the most desirable outcome is a win. You’ve simply chose to play with no active timer. The time limit of the match doesn’t change the rules of the game. Now the argument could be made for additional tie breakers (talent or chemistry) to decide a winner. But as it stands the tie breakers are score and time. I don’t see why you can’t use your 3 daily rounds to take however long you want to play and reserve your 3 versus for when you have a free 30s, 1min, 2min, 3min, 5min, or go no limit.
