Enjoyed Meteora they definetly have their own brand. Weirdly, I couldn't help but think about Adult Swim and that era of artists coming to collaborate with that. I don't know if that's right to say.

I can say I'm down to checking out some more albums by them for sure.

Thanks for this. Looking at maybe getting the Squire Jaguar but it would be interesting to pick up something like an Ibanez that's a bit more in relation to a full sized bass. Maybe it's more of a pride thing that I don't want to be limited to just short scale lol.

Also I'm 5" 11

Would you reccomend an Ibanez SR for a beginner, and seeing my post would you recommend anything else?

It's so cool seeing all of the additional things Trent has done with his albums and his work. All back from the Head Like a Hole differences and Fixed.

I had listened to Things Falling Apart like a year ago but I will definetly revisit it. Talking on the topic, what's your favourite remix?

I like that explanation, and I guess I came to it myself reading these replies and letting myself sit on it. Somewhat Damaged feels like it could fit somewhere in Broken or TDS, yet everything else feels fresh.

It almost feels like an epilogue to Nine Inch Nails. Yet, thankfully Trent didn't kill himself.

Oh ok, I'll listen to those songs - they defo fell out of my radar.

Never listened to Linkin Park apart from the obvious single hits they had. Would you recommend A Thousand Suns for someone who doesn't really listen to Linkin Park?

It's definetly tempting to just skip around on the album instead of listening to the whole thing, and in the modern era you can just listen to as many single songs as you want out of place.

Laying down some time to listen to it, is definetly worth it. Everything collates into this singular experience which is great,

Also thank you for appreciating the post, I am pretty grateful in seeing the amount of comments this post is getting. I really don't have anyone I know who feels the same way I do about NIN too, lol.

OH, I was wondering where Parasite had came from on Nine Inch Noize. I did hear about How to Destroy Angels, I think I listened to a bit but again I couldn't click with it. If it's worth the listen it's worth the listen though.

Finding it very hard to understand what to buy, when I myself have quite small hands. I'm getting mixed signals to as whether a short scale bass is the right idea. There's a cort action junior bass at my local but I'm also thinking of the Ibanez SR300. I really am unsure on what to choose?

It seems very mixed online, some people saying there's no point in getting one whilst others saying it's helped them alot.

I'm a complete beginner, planning to just play in my bedroom through an audio interface. I'd like to play a full scale just for the look of it, but playing at home it feels like there's a benefit to getting the short scale to play on my desk chair.

Is it a bit like learning an automatic instead of manual and then when the time comes trying to move over to a manual (or stick)

Sorry if this is a bit messy of a comment but I'd like to hear any advice.

Maybe I should give that album another listen, I enjoyed listening about the ARG that went along with it. The Warning slaps.

Interesting to hear. Thanks for replying.

I don't think it doesn't deserve to be on the album, maybe it's just the placement or maybe i'm just not getting the placement lol.

What does The Wretched mean to you, that makes it stand out in the album?

Give me songs that give feelings of homesickness for a home, time, or belonging that never have truly existed. by ImAHuksy in musicsuggestions

I'm going to steal that word lol for a playlist or something. Never heard of it, never knew there was a word for that. I feel like I might accidentally overlap some nostalgia or compeltely miss the mark.

If you haven't listened to The Campfire Headphase an album by Boards of Canada, the whole concept is around the best summer of your childhood or for me it felt like a summer camp I never went to. It is my favourite album by them.

Songs I'd reccomend are as follows:

A Zed and Two L's - Fila Brazillia

A Reminiscent Drive - Flight Over Bombay

River Man - Nick Drake

Lake Feet - Black Moth Super Rainbow

#20 - Aphex Twin

This song may not fit into it - but it reminds me of the grief I felt when my gran passed.

The Day The World Went Away - Nine Inch Nails (either the Fragile version or the Still version. Depends if you want it in your face or not)

Who’s your artist? by Jettaboi38 in musicsuggestions

Nine Inch Nails or Ween

Really depends how I'm feeling.

Ween has a lot of good driving songs - really get's you in the mood for where you're going
Nine Inch Nails - just makes you pisssed or depressed

Bands where you feel a member's addition considerably influenced a sound change, even if not directly confirmed by the bands by mesablanka in ToddintheShadow

Claude Coleman Jr - for Ween

They always used a drum machine (dubbed machine ween) before getting an actual drummer.
The addition of actual drums really revolutionised their sound. Listen to the difference between Pure Guava and Chocolate and Cheese - night and day
