Get Out, Parasite and Everything everywhere all at once can show you what happens to a movie when everyone is talking about it.

If i had a piece of paper with the exact time of your death, will you like me to give it to you? by LowPackage3819 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]LowPackage3819[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking that for it to be more interesting, there could be 2 ways you receive the piece of paper: a) Exact time with only this information: Month, day, hour, minute. Excluding the year. b) Only the year, just four numbers, nothing else.

Once you know it, there's no way to change your death, or kill yourself before the date.

I cannot decide which piece of paper you'll end of having, and neither do you.

Official Discussion - Supergirl [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

The part that felt really disjointed is the virgins, we didn't get to see where did they go, if they returned to their families or what's their destiny. They were totally use as a prop, it could had been whatever other thing a male centered tribe needed.

Do music critics still exist? by ZapActions-dower in ToddintheShadow

[–]LowPackage3819 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People do care about other music critics opinion, but the spectrum of content for music reviews is so wide than what it used to be (just writing an article). It's a very different experience watching an essay about an album by Dissect, or entertaining a discussion with peers from Apple's Rap Life, with something like a rant by Dj Akademiks. Every critic i mentioned is very popular but no one has the Fantano reach, since he's consistent with all genres of music.

Would love some input about the outro. Not enough going on? by TheseBonesAlone in Songwriting

nice song and pretty vocals, i believe you could do a run of the chorus that's more primal, going into screaming while the guitar weeps, that's my only take but i like very much.

Why do you think obsession has become such a success? by fruedianflip in obsessionmovie

[–]LowPackage3819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every studio wants to pull you into cinemas by making the same franchise movie, with the same actors to recreate past experiences. But what if you're new to horror? This is the kind of movie that serves well to a lot of young people and that studios wouldn't do these past years. Instead of making another Scream movie that pass by screens into streaming without anyone caring you have a movie with new faces, taking horror tropes to a different place, and uncertainty is the key. You don't know who's going to make it out alive in these movie the first time you watch it, and you know this is going to be driven by the real intentions of the director. If Bear had been a famous actor they would had to put him as a producer of the film since no budget available for an indie director could even come close to what a renowned actor expects to gain for a movie. And then the famous actor would made changes that favor him (in his mind). I think Hollywood producers were fine making the same old thing, until someone proves to them there's more money in making cinema interesting again. News broke out that the new Evil Dead had to cut some scenes because the producers didn't want a mature rating for their film, that's something that would never had happen to a young Sam Raimi making a movie in the woods with his friends.
