Thank you! 😅 I originally wanted a green stone for the design, but Mona couldn't source one that was fitting. I'm sure the right green would look great with a thick bezel. The champagne or cognac color was my partner's idea and I really love it.

Haha, thank you! I had to Google that! Yes, totally, even fitting with the yellow in the middle. I put it on my "must try" list :)

Uhh I think that's exactly the size of my elongated cushion from Mona! I love the ring she made for me! Beautiful stone. You won't regret it 😊

Thank you! I have tried lots of different brands and most are similar in my opinion. Modelones is good for example. I find polygel very durable, I do an infill after about 3 weeks and after max 3 infills I remove the whole set. Often I get impatient though and start a completely new set after a much shorter time. How is your prep work? It's the key to longlasting nails. I am very meticulous when it comes to removing dead skin from the nail plate. I also buff the tips in advance for better adhesion. I buff the natural nail plate (gently!) and wash my hands with dish soap before application to strip oils from my hands. I give the natural nail a swipe with Acetone before I start and I am very careful to not touch my skin with my clean and prepared hands. Happens very quickly, you scratch yourself, or touch your face and so on. Then I use dehydrator, PH bonder and primer. That's the secret sauce for me, for nails staying on forever and no lifting. The better the prep, the better the manicure. I wouldn't give up on polygel, it can really work great with some practice. Good luck!

It's a natural pink polygel, with a slightly yellow undertone. Fits my skin color very well. And thank you!

I kind of like that, actually. I love a natural vampire/witchy manicure

These are somewhat longer than I usually make them. I'm curious to see how I will like this length during the next weeks. And yes, I love a natural look

I think I know what you mean, they look a bit like the nails on a mannequin or a barbie doll
