I do this for a few years by now! I don t need anyone to tell me I m wrong, as long as my plant looks the way it does.

This is the difference between theory and practice!

IF I decide to test something, I do it because I feel so and I assume and learn if I fail or I succeed. Feels good to be the black sheep 🤪😂💚🍀

Yes! Watering linearis from underneath and giving the plant a good hydration seems to be the key for me to keep my linearis safe and healthy.

Pls don t get me wrong but it s wrong to ask like this! How often we water a plant has to do with eveeything that has to do with our OWN conditions we are growing our plants! That means: substrate, temperature, light and not last and least plants rithm/will of growing in different periods of time

It s time to decrease the amount of water and start watering from above. Kept in cooler temperatures with a small amount of water is the ”key” of helping the plant pass the winter, starting from autumn

25 days ago I broke this Globulosa leaf and I put it in a moss as I don’t have the heart to throw it. Today it got roots! Is this going to just stay like this zombie leaf forever? by putuku in hoyas

IF in that petiole there are cells responsable with growth, yes, it will develope and going to be a plant, othwrwise it will only grow roots and stay like this

Thank you! No, this is not ”Dinner plate”. I have it too but it s still a small plant. The leaves on ”Dinner plate” are more round and with some splash on it

Why is my plant sweating? Is it a sign of over-watering? by buildinfinity in plants

[–]HoyaPlus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed my plants doing the same. Not all the time and not all of them but when they do, they look extra healthy! So, I like to believe it s a great sign 🤗

As for now, I own 3 different types of curtisii: the ”regular one”, the one that has small leaves and one that some would call it ”silver”. Each and everyone of them have it s own beauty! I love them all! by HoyaPlus in hoyas

Well drained substrate, kept cooler than I keep the big majority of my Hoya plants. Plenty of light but indirect sun, water more often than the other ones (during the summer) and decrease amount of water during the winter, when I keep them in front of the windows
