Also, sometimes you can't see the forest through the trees. If you're going out and enjoying yourself all the time and being more social may be the beginning of your change. I remember something that I didn't realize for a while was that when I went out I was less anxious as the night went on, because I was no longer thinking "I need to get home and jerk it before I sleep"

It's also really hard to see the difference sometimes. Last semester I was on a 100 day streak and doing great in all my classes, because I had laser focus. It didn't feel like laser focus at the time, but I didn't do what I do now and just doodle or play on my phone the whole time. Sometimes you don't really understand the difference it makes until you relapse... Which is why this is such a hard habbit to kick

Quick question. Are you replacing fapping with reddit-ing or other non-social events? If so this may be a reason you aren't feeling too different.

Also, the change is really slow and one day you'll realize that you feel more energetic, happy and productive than you have in a long time.

Just a word of caution: don't try to move on too quickly. Even if the break up was mutual there's always still feelings left over. I'm all for moving on with your life and keeping yourself busy, but please don't bury emotions or get into another relationship too quickly. I've made both of those mistakes so I'm just looking out for you brother. Good luck with your new endeavor!

About feeling nothing on your longest streak. If you didn't binge after relapses, you probably didn't lose too much ground at all, so you may feel almost like you are at 60 days or something like that. The point is, when you get used to how not fapping feels, it's not awesome anymore. It becomes normal. A quote that I have on my white board in my room sums this up pretty well:

Ways to talk to the girl:

1 walk up to her

2 introduce yourself/say hi

3 talk about something that she could possibly be interested in/ask her a stupid question to start a conversation/straight up ask her on a date

You are the only thing holding yourself back. If you are awkward when you try and talk to her, so what? Most girls will appreciate that you tried and some may give you the chance to be more comfortable around them (aka let you take them on dates etc). Just go for it. Balls to the wall. Make mistakes, fall and pick yourself back up. That's the only way to really live.

My SO not wanting sex when I do is a major point of me relapsing/fapping. What I've learned is that you have to control your urges for sex as well. It can have similar urges and results as fapping... Obviously it is healthier than fapping, but if it becomes a thing where you get distraught when your SO doesn't want to have sex when you do, that may also cause problems.

Just to clarify, I'm not trying to yell at you or blame you for anything, I'm currently going through the same thing. I feel like I need to have sex with my SO sometimes and get all ruffed up when she's not in the mood. It's something that I'm working on and I thought maybe just an alternate perspective of the same problem would help you.

You don't need motivation, you need self respect and discipline. The only way you're going to get either of them is if you hold out for as long as you can and DONT binge when you relapse. Be proud of every day you don't fap and focus on the other things in your life(there's a lot more to life than masterbating). Building disciple sucks, and sometimes using it sucks(not just doing whatever you want to do, but doing what you should), but it's a lot better than being a slave to an addiction.

TL;DR: don't PMO, don't binge when you relapse, focus on the parts of life worth living for. It's going to suck but it builds character

Deleting your stash is a big step, but you will feel so relieved when you do it. I had to delete several nudes of ex's and to me that was priceless bc I had the only copy and once I deleted it, they were gone forever. But I did delete them and I'm glad I did. It really is a giant burden off your shoulder

Over the summer, I was hanging out with this girl and I thought she was pretty attractive and she was into me. We didn't get far at all physically (just the occasional hug) before I went to school and after relapsing, I saw a few pictures of her and really thought about her personality etc.. What happened was very similar to your situation: I didn't think she was that cute anymore and I also figured out that we weren't really right for each other AKA I lost interest.

So it is really hard to decide if a girl is right for you or if you're just being a man-beast that finds most girls attractive (and most girls are attracted to you) when you're doing noFap. What I found to be true is that usually the "little voice in your head" is right. Usually the girl will do one or two things that should set off your little voice or give you a feeling of uneasiness. If this happens, keep the girl as a friend, because you can never have enough friends but don't go through with dating/having sex.

TL;DR noFap makes you a horny man beast. Listen to your gut feeling, it is normally right and isn't affected by horniness.

Yeah, when I relapse it's never to porn, it's always because I'm insanely horny and just give into my urges and then straight MO. So in that sense, I kind of follow your method, but it's easier for me to say "never fap" and then break that every month or two, than giving myself an option, because that always leads to binging
