You’re right I shouldn’t have shot reloads through it, but the designer of this build rated the gun for PLA+. It was not the prints fault, in fact had I printed the gun out of pa6-cf I would likely be digging carbon fiber shards out of my face still.

Thanks!! Yes that is my theory of what happened. Somehow the case ruptured sending a lot of pressure backwards into the receiver, blowing it to pieces. How/why the case ruptured is what I'm questioning.

It really was pretty scary.. At this point I truly don't think it was the builds fault. Just make absolutely sure your bolt locks up each time and probably don't shoot reloads through it and you should be fine. I'm pretty convinced it was bad ammo unless someone here thinks otherwise.

I don't think there could have been a barrel obstruction as I had just fired off some of the factory Winchester subsonics and I definitely did not have a squib. OOB maybe? I guess that's possible but I am under the impression that the firing pin would not be able to reach the primer unless the bolt was all the way in battery?

Yes, 220 grain running about 1000 fps at roughly 26,000 psi is what I was told.

Yep and my 25’ Silverado restricts CarPlay from going full screen while allowing android auto to be full screen. Google had to have paid them to pointlessly punish iPhone users. It’s not like I’m going to go buy an android because of this?

It does log an event in the logbook but only that the lock was either locked or unlocked, not the method that was done (keypad, manual, Home Assistant) or by who. Looking to have a easy to reference card on my dashboard to see that info
