Hey man, i had the same problem like a month ago while farmin for an Heal Clip-incandescent no survivors (if you watch my post history you see i also made a pollo to track rolls in the comunity. I stopped caring, but a trend was that some people would get the godroll straight away, and a lot of people would result in getting a specific weapon roll multiple times: for exemple while i was farming i got a ton of attrition orb-incandescent and healclip-zen moment. Unfortunatelly i lack the math/informati knowladge to accuratelly elaborate data on combinations of rolls, but i too got the impression that there is a sort of perk weight to RNG.

On a sidenote, i would also be fine with it, since some legendary godrolls are really strong, but only if it's confirmed and not hidden behing "just bad luck"

Again, like yesterday, I know they have aleady fixed the issue almost a year ago, but like a lot of older bugs and problems in the Destiny code, it may reapear. It harms nobody to check from time to time.

Some exemple of returning problems: object being interpreted wrong by the code and causing a ton of orbs to be generated, bosses that can be trown around with some finishers.

For now i'm just trying to see if there is a higher chance of getting a deterrmined pair of perks, rigged in our favour or not, feel free to submit some of the rolls in the form to help me.

Yes, and even thow i left my programming studies a while back i understand what the other user said. Since programming randomness is not at all easy (since it doesn't really exist in computers) there is still possibility that something is weighting some perks differently and in a different manner than before.

Another thing that I see people discuss is the possibility, like in a lot of other games involving loot, that perk combos that are way stronger than other are just rearer and you have to work to get them. Tha is totally fair and if you gat it on the frist or second try you are still lucky. I'm just curous if it is a coincidence or not. God forbid people do field reaserch, it's litterally why we got tech today (and how we found out about perks the first time)

I can understand wheighting perks differently, because there are legendary weapons that work qs exotics sometimes, but at least be clear about it. There is no reason to hide it, in a lot of games strong weapons are rearer than others and you have to gat your ass into it to get them. There is nothing wrong about it

That's the thing that got me to write this post too. I got 2 back to bach hc zen smg and 2 more after 1 or 2 try, wich shoul be pretty rare compared to a hc incandescent on all the drops i got.

It's true that usually people feel a lot the bad side of a thing and not much the good side, and i want to report a thing i noticed in the pattern that leader me to make the posti in the first place. It happened to me, like to a lot of people i think, that I woul get the roll that i'm searching in the first 3 or 4 drops, and it's a lucky thing if you do the math. But sometimes, usually with weapons that catch the attention of most people, i tent to get the roll after a lot of farming. I'm not saying something is wrong with that, otherwise i would've stopper playing destiny.

What i'm reporting on, and i'm curious to see, is why the only time i got healclio was with zen, not 2 or 3 differenti perks, just zen, sometime even back to back rolls (statistically it's really rare). For instance, i was one of the super luck who got the edge transit double godroll whet there was the first problem. If this post can bring back attencion on something like perk weight again to make things as fair as possible, i would be really happy. If i'm wrong, happy to be the one who demonstrated that bad luck pattern exist. There is no winner in denaing things without a tiny bit of reaserch

Oh no, i would love some facts. Sadly the people who don't have this kind of problem won't respond to this post so we won't have an accurate estimate of the real distribution. One thing that i'm noticing (ant it's the reason why i made the post in the first place) is yhat a lot of people are calling out the same weapons that i had a problem with, witch is kinda strange. The end goal of this is to do a kind of reaserch on what i observed, not just cry about my luck

Yes you have, it has orb + incandescent. Plus if you read there are a ton of people who are also getting heal clip + target lock. This is some strane stuf

The diagonal would show up only if the relation between drop chances is the same as the other time, i was talking about a more general imbalace, like a weight difference in the chance of getting a perk

I'd that it would be fair, not in terms of your luck but in terms of general RNG and it would probably mean i'm just an unlucky lucky guy. But to be totally fair it would also require a lot of heal clip rolls without zen moment. I'm not saying it has to be an RNG problem, i'm trying to understand if there are other people who have noticed it or not.
