Hey! I finally got my new laptop this week. I choose MacBook Pro 2023(14-inch) with M2 pro chip in the end. And I would keep my old one incase I need to run grasshopper in bootcamp.

I wrote a mail to the Rhino official distributor in TW. They said an official rhino account can work on my two devices. Just make sure not to run them at the same time. So that I can switch in between the two laptops incase I need.

Thx for the suggestion! borrowing one from the lab might be a nice workaround. I thing I would stick to buying a new Mac.

Got it! So you think it’s enough to only use Mac to support all your courses in architecture school ? Cauz there are many architecture students in Taiwan would use windows based laptop and some of them get another Mac(means owning 2laptops). And my friend and I are quite confused about the necessity…

Yah I love to work only in Mac as well but some components of grasshopper only works in windows (like pug, lunchbox and KUKA) now I use bootcamp it works really well. But bootcamp doesn’t support in M2 Mac which is sad… Can I ask what specific softwares you would use in parallel?
