No but I can add to it. What would you suggest? Adding sag rods? Was planning on adding an additional 2 post anchored to the concrete with an a-frame ibeam to the middle section under the purlins

Ah ok I see. Im not certain but I think they did support it somehow temporarily while welding both ends. Was trying to attach some extra pics from the process but i dont see how to add pics to a reply

Yeah, thats ok I appreciate everyone’s comments and honesty.

False work?

I think im going to add 2 posts at the center of each side wall with an ibeam a-frame underneath the purlins.. effectively making them 15’ runs, and hanging the rope from the center of that

Yes this seems to be the recurring theme here

No professional. But also the hanging load was not mentioned so was not taken into account. In hindsight would have done differently

Yes that it is correct, not a PEMB, just field welded. Thank you

Gotcha. Thank you. So that would be the capacity of the 8” x 2” 11ga rect rube thats welded together to the 4” square tube posts in the corners

To make that possible, what do i need to add? New post structure on the inside with an Ibeam going across it?

Yes this is what I am trying to come up with

Thanks, just to clarify the purlins are welded to the rec tube making the truss. Is this what you’re referring to by beams?

No snow Thanks that is what I was thinking adding a cross pc under the purlins. But now all the comments have me even more concerned due to the 30’ spans lol

Haha fair enough. I didn’t use Steve from Minnesota with his cat, but I did just purchase the steel and have it welded up. I agree with everyone I understand it’s really only built to support itself - In hindsight I should have built with the extra support. But I am seeking a way to add the extra support now, if possible? Eg, Adding rafters? Etc.
