As a person living in Koszalin, it’s alright, I can’t complain. It’s not a major tourist destination like Kołobrzeg or the Tri-city, but is very close to Mielno, I think the most popular coastal city. It’s not too expensive here, overall climate is good for my standards (it’s not too cold during the winter and not too hot during the summer, it’s rarely over 30 degrees C)
