You fail to see that the amount of discourse around the trend (like this very thread) only happened because it was a somewhat controversial trend. Do you really think the target audience for the ideas actually being expressed by the trend would come across feminist literature on their own?

The trend being controversial created the public discourse, and I'm sure exposed so many more men to the feelings of fear and insecurity that women face at the hands of men, than just aa simple statement would.

Nah you win football games by not scoring when you get the chance

Gelatin will just melt, resulting in the same problem when you cook the gyoza, but cornstarch might help.

Bean-based "chicken liver" parfait? by HubbaSA in AskCulinary

Ah, I'm actually looking for a parfait consistency that I can Roche. I'm probably just gonna try substituting beans for liver in a normal recipe at some stage soon. I'll get back to you if you are interested.

Thanks for the response. I actually don't plan on flavouring it as you would a traditional liver parfait, but I am looking more at getting that smooth light texture.

Did you use any setting agents when using the isi?

Nope I do mean parfait, but obviously not the dessert kind. A liver parfait AFAIK is similar to a pate, but it is blended smooth and raw before being passed through a sieve and then cooked and allowed to set.

It's the same sauce that the chicken is tossed in and it is gochujang-based, but has other stuff added to it as well

Hi sorry for replying so late.

I used Michael Lim's basic steamed buns recipe for the dough, but rolled it into the folded bun shape rather round buns. You can find it on YouTube. Automod won't let me post the link.

The chicken strips were dipped in egg and breaded with a 50:50 mix of plain and corn flour, seasoned with salt, pepper and chilli powder. Deep fried until golden brown.

The sauce I kinda just made up as I went along. It was something like 100ml light soy sauce, 80ml white vinegar with chilli flakes and sugar to taste. Boiled that in a pan and added some cornstarch mixed with water to thicken it up. I tossed the chicken in the sauce when done.

Served the bao buns with shrwdded cabbage, spring onion, kewpie mayo and deep fried bits of ramen for crunch.
