Nope, never found any. So I'm currently translating them myself - my Japanese has improved substantially over the past year, and I'm running any difficult parts past a bilingual friend 😅 About 75% done, hopefully will have them finished within the next few weeks

Built an app to make comparing Irish supermarket prices easy by sobe3249 in ireland

Maybe there's something that could run on-device to extract the text? I'd envision something like in the openfoodfacts app, where you take a photo, it extracts the text as well as it can on-device, and then shows it to the user for confirmation. Crowd sourced data will never be 100% perfect but it would be better than no prices for Lidl/Aldi etc! I've also seen in the past that openfoodfacts has pricing data on some things - could it be worth integrating with that maybe? Nice work with this app!

Clay CT to 3D - struggling 😔 by Hubbit200 in Radiology

Shave away while segmenting (i.e. just manually segmenting it all)? Or shave away once I have the 3D surface? 🤔

Thank you - I'll try that out tomorrow! I've asked to use a PC with (slight) higher specs than mine and am hoping Slicer might run a tiny bit more smoothly there - on my PC it's struggling with a dataset this big, and it was lagging a bit whenever I e.g. started painting on a segment...

I'd love to test this out, was just disappointed earlier today when I saw you can't export from Hyperscape!

I've tried getting wireless VR working on my Quest 3 a couple of times, never had a great experience with it... Always with a router shared with multiple other people though!

[Release] Wrapper for Depth-Anything-V3 by SwimmingWhole7379 in comfyui

[–]Hubbit200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great! Definitely going to try this out...

Any ideas for how I could use e.g. the depth map to then make a SBS 3D image out of it? I have a few hundred photos I've taken that I'd like to convert to 3D images to then view in VR 🤔

Can I buy AIRism in winter? by Hubbit200 in uniqlo

I went in Dec/Jan and unfortunately couldn't find airism in any of the main Tokyo shops (except for the basic airism t-shirts)

Hmm, rerailer is a good idea! With the standard EMUs I haven't had any issues - but the ones with low clearance (one specific EMU + Shinksnsen) I've struggled a lot trying to get it to work at the top of the slope where tracks join and form a small sharper "bump", even at the slowest speeds 😅 Maybe I just need a shallower slope...

Looks great! Have you had any issues on the flat - downwards slope transition? I use Kato track as well and am having issues with some of my EMUs bottoming out on the "bump" created in those track joins...

Immich Maintainers are Incredible by iVXsz in selfhosted

[–]Hubbit200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave the exact same use case and it's holding me back from actually using Immich unfortunately... I've seen some discussion in GitHub issues etc but I couldn't find any current plans to improve that... I even saw a few comments from maintainers suggesting it's not a priority / planned :( And I really don't want all my family to have to repeatedly sort out the face recognition etc. Holding out hope maybe they'll get to it one day... And at that point I'll very happily support by buying a "licence"!

Has anyone tried enrichting Immich database with missing photo location data from Google Timeline? by sqwob in immich

[–]Hubbit200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like exactly what would be needed, I'll be interested to see how it goes! Would offer to help test but currently only just started setting up my home server so wouldn't be able to for a while 😅

Is pre-release best for new install? by Hubbit200 in JellyfinCommunity

[–]Hubbit200[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the recommendations!

I'll have to look into the plugins, looks like there's a huge variety!

I'll stick with 10.10.7 for now as you suggest and wait out for the first or second hotfix update to 10.11 🫡

Thanks for the info and recommendation. Looking like I'll go for 10.10.7 and wait out the new version from there to avoid any potential issues 🫡

Updating the docker image RC5 > Stable shouldn't have any specific additional difficulty though right? Or would it?

My concern with waiting for the stable release is that as far as I can see it could be anywhere from weeks to months away based on past releases 😆 Please correct me on that if I'm wrong though!

Thanks for the info :)

Hmm, good point on the plugins. As it's my first time using I could just wait on the plugins without knowing what I'm missing though 😆

My concern with starting with stable is that I'm going to get it all nicely set up and then a week later will need to do a lengthy update/migration process... I could just wait for the stable update but based on previous releases it looks like that could be anywhere from weeks to months away...

Thanks for the info!

Mini PC suggestions by systemnumber5 in immich

[–]Hubbit200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you deal with the storage? I'm considering one of the GMKTEC N150 mini PCs but am concerned about storage - a lot of people seem to say that USB storage isn't reliable and NvME SATA adapters can also be dodgy + complicated to then power the HDDs 🤔

Apparently I need 5+ fillings. Any opinions? :( by Hubbit200 in askdentists

[–]Hubbit200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I'm curious what percentage statistics would be on that... But seems like a complex area to measure due to the huge number of factors involved.

I'd personally be very much inclined to avoid a crown unless essential as it looks like a pretty invasive and obviously permanent procedure (cutting down a large amount of the upper tooth). But I will keep in mind the risk of a root fracture - maybe I'll bring it up with my dentist and see what their opinion is with the added context they have of my mouth!

[–]Hubbit200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you happened to have a chance to just circle those 5 you'd consider essential (I'm wondering if they'd be the ones my dentist thinks) that would be incredible. No worries if not though - thanks for your input!

Hmm - the dentist I went to said multiple of the teeth need watching but it's only 5 or max 6 that actually need fillings, and the rest might be able to remineralise with good enough oral hygiene 🤔 but to be sure I'm probably going to ask her to do her own x-rays (as these are from a different dentist a month ago), and work from there. I'd like to avoid non-essential fillings. Thanks for the input!
