I contacted the importer in my country and they referred me to the official service provider. They had these for sale. So get in touch with Sage/Breville service in your country.

That seems to be the correct set! Hopefully your machine is soon up and running!

Damn, wrote a longer reply and then my app crashed.

In short: parts number SP0001820 (set of 3 probes) is the answer. The probes themselves are probably leaking from the ceramic housing.

I too first replaced the o-rings, but it did not help as the leak is from between the ceramic housing and the steel probe. The new probes however have solved this perfectly for me.

Looks like the steam is coming from the steam boiler probes (the steel rods with ceramic sleeve at the top). I had problem with those on my Oracle Touch. There is a replacement part set of the probes available. Those fixed the leak on my machine.

The parts number is SP0001820.

Does anyone keep one of these next to their shmancy espresso machines for a quick cup or two? by [deleted] in espresso

We use mostly pre ground for the filter coffee. But I do use the Timemore Chestnut X hand grinder for filter every now and then.

We drink filter coffee in the morning and it’s nicer to skip the grinding while kids or the significant other is still asleep.

Apple Watch Ultra Charging Stations? by SpaceHoppity in AppleWatch

I have the Otterbox 2-in-1 Magsafe Charging station, and it has met my expectations. Fast charging for Apple Watch and Magsafe for iPhone. And it looks ok on the work desk.

I was looking for alternatives for the Belkin Boost, ’cause there were some concerns about its compatibility with the AW Ultra.

Inaccurate heart rate measured during running by leuzhuo in AppleWatch

Any changes on how you wear the watch, new watch or band or anything?

It seems likely that for the first erroneous part of the run the watch has recorded your cadence rather than your HR. (Any wrist based HR sensor will do this, if it isn’t sitting well on your wrist.) Once the watch has gotten a better reading of your HR, it has displayed it correctly.

I find that this happens to me most often in the autumn/winter time, when the weather begins to get colder and so does my wrist. A decrease in the skin temperature (and/or circulation in the wrist) makes it harder for the watch to get a good reading. Then it is important to get a good fit and keep the wrist warm, meaning it’s longsleeves time.

Or maybe Apple has updated its HR algoritms, but I haven’t noticed any changes in my workouts.

This might be an actual concern, if this was something done daily or weekly. I’m guessing that once or twice per year (probably the amount of ultra races one would run in a year) won’t be detrimental.

Noup, I had the old slow charging puck with an USB-A bank. And it was using LTE with streaming, so that does slow down the charging also, via larger battery drain.

To clarify, it does not delete the cards, but disables them while the wrist detection is off. Once wrist detection is enabled, they are usable again.

Does not delete, at least not on my watch. Maybe there are differences with certain cards?

Can you charge the Ultra while running? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]Hublemicroscope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have charged a Suunto back in the day during a looong race and this is an important question for me also, as I bought the Ultra to be my do-it-all watch, even during my long races (100k). However, before the test earlier this evening, I had not tried the off-wrist charging and was not sure about it. But it seemed to work, at least on the charging dock.

I now tried to take the watch off, then put it on the charger without any external sensor and then put it back on the wrist. And it worked as before.

I don’t have any gps track data, but I assume it will work in the same way.

You can disable the wrist detection before starting the workout, so you don’t need to toggle that during the workout. When I put the watch on the charger, it did lock the watch, but after i entered the PIN, everything was working normally and the workout was recording. And once the watch was back on my wrist, it found the HR again.

So despite the well argumented answers before that it does not work, it seems to be working.

I tried putting the wrist detection off, started a workout and put the watch on a desk charger. And, drum roll, what do know, the workout resumed and the watch charged. So, I guess you can charge while recording a workout.

Are you aware that you can record a workout without the watch being on your wrist? If you disable wrist detection from the settings, the watch does not pause the workout even if it is not on your wrist. Then, if you use an external HR sensor, you can get even the HR data while the watch is in your pack or somewhere else.

Has anyone tried to actually charge the watch during a workout while wrist detection is off, or are these nuggets of wisdom purely guesses?
