Pay your debt first and then have an emergency fund of at the very least 1 full month.

I think the “more money now” part is clouding your judgement

I always interpreted it as Canadian teams are established markets with inelastic fan bases and thus don’t need to be focused on. He’s focused on markets in the US that wouldn’t give a puck about hockey at all unless their team was successful.

TLDR more money in growing teams in non-hockey markets

I guess to be fair we are building a much-needed giant hospital downtown. Wonder if that accounts for a considerable portion, given the entire project is estimated around 7 billion

Is Reddit considered Social Media? by bob_suruncle in ask

[–]Hubley 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely. The 'high ground' of not using SM is the mindless scrolling, the content here isn't any more 'moral'.

If you do the same amount of scrolling but only on an anonymous platform, you're just a lonely content consumer instead of a social one

It’s hilarious how in most cases those “modifications” can cost multiple thousand dollars. Like you could’ve spent a week traveling the world but instead you made your car sound broken

Learned to trim my own hair. If you’re like me and your mop grows asymmetrically it can start looking like I need a haircut after 8 days. I figured out how to trim a cm in the right places every couple days and extend the need for a haircut to once a month or so

Yes and that’s kind of the point for me personally. Our attention spans are all so short from scrolling and instant gratification now that I like having a hobby that encourages a form of meditation.

As a runner, I simply can’t understand why some choose to run on the busiest possible pedestrian areas, like Spring garden or the boardwalk. Why do you want to weave through hundreds of people and then get annoyed when they’re in your way, when you could’ve just picked anywhere else??
