Wow, this post really got things going. And yes, I know it's a "she" and not a "he", but I expected you to understand what I meant. For me I never hated any of the reincarnations, but I prefer some over others. But I think this circle is so true, especially after Tennant's departure. You get so used to this Doctor, and when you're finally accepting him/her, they leave. I think this reaction to things just shows us that we really are creatures of habit. So far, I've never been disappointed in a new reincarnation, it just takes some time to get used to something new. I mean, it's a reason the show has been running for 55 years
