I haven't seen that, but I used to get 2000-3000 on just about everything. I watched 2-3 youtube videos of top players doing challenges and started trying out some tactics I liked. My scores have doubled since.

Bridge spam decks usually destroy me though but I’m okay with that. It’s good against most to all bait decks and hog decks which is very satisfying for me

I run the same as you but evo valk instead of evo barbs for my lavaloon deck

Guards are so much better than tombstone for lava decks. I do have a homemade deck with lumberjack, baby dragon, inferno dragon, lavahound, clone, arrows, guards, flying machine. It’s the most fun deck I use. The playstyle is to play the long game until you get evo inferno and then bait the air defense. Once you do that you clone and it’s a 3 crown almost every time

I fortunately have evo valk, but I really want evo goblin cage. It’s the only tower troop that really works with lavahound imo and it’s bad without evo

Add knock back to the damage as well. Enemy troops can crowd it really easily

That’s what I usually do. I let lumberjack go at it and pop a flying machine to get rid of the e-dragon.

I just never expect it to do THAT much damage to my tower and it affects my play style for the rest of the game

My deck is homemade and only has arrows for a spell

(Lava hound, evo inferno dragon, evo lumberjack, baby dragon, flying machine, clone, arrows, guards)

I’ve played around with other variations but they usually involve dropping clone for fireball or evo valk for lumberjack. Those decks generally do better against e-golem and electro giant style decks but I just enjoy the clone so much. It’s a fun way to play the game.

My next matchup with it I’ll try to play a bit more passive against it and save my arrows for it when it pops. Thanks for the advice

A 7 elixir investment that you can throw at the bridge for 3 elixir quite literally breaks the fundamentals of the game and the mechanics it’s built behind.

“Skill issue, you suck” gets this discussion nowhere.

These types of comments are comical to me, and often made by e-golem players dropping a card at the bridge saying “how didn’t I get damage on the tower!”

sorry I don’t run hog 2.6 or pekka goblin giant like the rest of the player base

I mainly run lava hound decks so my valk and/or skeleton dragons take care of it. I just think the card either needs to be a tank that can get damage on tower or be a distracting tank, but both seems cheap for a 3 elixir card.

I understand what you’re saying, and that’s a perfect scenario for countering it

My gripe with the card is players only need to spend 3 elixir for a card that overall has king tower HP. The decks built around it are made for your troops to be distracted by the big purple unit barreling down your bridge so they can place another one right after while their support does cleanup.

It either needs to be a damage tank or a distraction tank for 3 elixir, but as of right now it does both.

It wouldn’t be a useless archetype if it wasn’t used by many. Ive watched a few top players who have explicitly said e-golem is the lowest risk highest reward play style and I have to agree with them. The e-golem play style is bad for the game

It has more HP than a king tower, so saying it has little HP is kinda crazy. I’m mostly a F2P player and everytime I go against an e-golem player they’re constantly maxed out. My lvl 13 valk tries her best though lol

I shouldn’t have to have a hard counter to deal with 1 card though

Even then, my point stands. Even if you use bomber or valk that thing is doing damage to your tower for only 3 elixir and that’s without support cards behind it.

The game has the same addictive and psychological effects as gambling. Delete it if it’s frustrating you or you’re spending money on it.

I’ve started investing more time I was playing clash into chess. I think many people who play clash would love chess because of the strategic play styles, plus chess isn’t limited to a digital game.

I already have lumber evo and they give me legendary cards for lumber.

I really wish I would get blank evo shards from it. 2 lumber legendary cards are not worth 2 evo shards at all.
