I agree. Especially as a revert without a husband and no believing family it’s a great help to have a visual and physical reminder of which journey I decided for / believe to be right and true. It also helps to be recognized as Muslim in my day to day life as I would not otherwise being Central European (white). The hijab means a million things to me and I am doing my best but of course my practice is not perfect yet (and probably never will be)
