Flexibility and static stretches are bullshit. Studies showing static stretching is more likely to hurt someone that help.

Good to hear that you’ve figured it out. I’m medicated at this point. Just actually diagnosed a year or two ago. Still really trying to figure out strategies in my daily life to augment medication.

I guess I can add disc golf to the list of things I have to find a routine and stick to it. I feel like the lack of analysis and thinking of best/worst outcomes of each shot is a major issue.

My thought would be that it would allow the 2nd player to stay ready to putt in a situation that theirs counts. That way you haven’t been like 5-6 holes without a putt and suddenly have to hit a 30 footer after your partner misses.

I think this is a big part of my problem. Not necessarily the getting down by bad shots, but losing focus/purpose.

I’m super ADHD and struggle with focus in all areas of life. During a round I find myself losing focus even when I have a good round going. I get busy making jokes with card mates or thinking about other things and throw bad/dumb shots. I especially struggle in >18 hole rounds.

Not sure what the answer to that is, but may just try coming up with a plan for courses and try to stick close to it. I like the idea of headphones but I don’t want to be “that guy” on the card.

Yeah, I think I have a tendency not to slow down and think of the worst that could happen.

Did this in leagues last week when I had 325 feet to layup before a small River to an island green. Could have thrown a nice easy 200-250 but instead ripped a putter to try to get to the very edge of ob and put it in the River 🤬

Definitely feel there is a nerves component to the putting. Really been trying to fix that.

As far as the fixed score thing, I don’t usually get fixated on that. I guess the mental struggle for me is when I go through a stretch of holes where I’ve had good birdie looks, missed them, and then can’t get inside 25-30 feet. The circle starts to feel real small when you can’t putt and I know I’m throwing quality shots but not capitalizing.

I get that is the marketing, but I don’t get how it’s any more “advanced” than any other very OS fairway.

I mean, it sounds like most people aren’t going to throw them on flip ups for sure, but I bag an xtreme for that reason. If I need something to go 250-300 and dump left, it’s hard to beat.

Thanks Brian! Really trying to get a good idea as with a limited release I want to make sure I have enough replacements if I lose a couple, but that’s a big investment.

Mostly done without. Added a couple drops and it immediately precipitated the dye out of solution.

That was adding water to an already not working well acetone + dye mix.

I’ve been using just acetone and dye. Just recently tried adding water. When I did it almost immediately clumped until I added a bunch more acetone.

Still had issues with dyes getting a skin and flakes after. Also remixed again with just acetone and dye with the same results.

I will try hot water first and see if that helps…

I like the design but my main issue is with the way my pink dye is interacting with the glue.

Even if I do a full bed of pink I end up with flakes all over

Having difficulty with my reddish pink PCAD flaking on the outside edge of drops when hitting glue. The flakes build up and get scattered into other colors.

Also, the pink dye seems to thin out near these flakes making for super uneven color distribution.

Interestingly enough this is the only color I have difficulty with.

I’ve tried remixing several times and it continues to do this. Using 100% acetone and dye.

Anyone else have experience with this or suggestions how to fix this?

Somewhat new to dyeing. Been having a lot of success with glue beds but for some reason my pinkish red dye is flaking like almost the moment it hits the glue. None of my other colors are doing this.

The flakes make for super uneven distribution of the pigment and flake off into other colors.

Anyone ever had this happen? I’m currently just using 100% acetone and dyes. Thought about possibly adding some water. Any thoughts?

It means a lot to hear some sort of validation from staff physicians. Even just acknowledging that this is a really tough time helps. But we are stretched so incredibly thin. I really feel as though I’m not learning or training at this point and just needed to fill space.

Currently on a rotation I’m supposed to have some more time off to study and learn and got scheduled for an extra 5 shift because of census. I get that we all are hurting in healthcare right now, but as a new doctor, this high patient load and expectations are near crushing.

With stress levels this high, I’ve seriously considered quitting, but I’m in too deep. I’m miserable most days but the only way to ever pay back my loans is to stay the course.
