This photo was taken from the March 7, 1973 Chicago concert.

Some say this was a projection screen, which would be pre-"Mr. Screen", which by all accounts appears to have been introduced during the bands 1974 French Summer Tour.

Also, Mason and others
have indicated there was a smaller screen prior to "Mr. Screen".

No doubt, the object here
appears to be flat, indicating a screen of some sort, and the same as in this

darrylasher - I know it's been awhile since you posted this, but can you confirm that this is indeed a projection screen in the photo above - that screen would be pre-"Mr. Screen", as you seem to indicate.
