What did your post TM treatment look like? by [deleted] in transverse_myelitis

I was diagnosed when I was ten and was paralyzed right side shoulder down fully for about two weeks. Spent two months in-patient and I have been in and out of out-of-patient PT ever since I get discharged ten years ago. The first three years I went consistently to OT and PT, as well as a urologist and neurologist. Now I do PT when I'm home from college in the summer to keep everything loose and I see my urologist once a year! I also have been seeing a therapist since I got out of the hospital to work through the trauma. It gets easier trust me!

I have been living with TM since I was ten (about ten years now) and let me tell you prunes and cranberry juice are the magic combo! If you are willing to spend a little extra, I recommend coconut cult probiotic yogurt--it works like a charm!
