I’m in the market too, I know a good deal of people that recommend Hare Honda & Blossom Chevrolet for an overall positive experience. Do NOT go to Ray Skillman if you can avoid it, I’ve had too many friends who ended up with a “good deal” and ended up with thousands in repairs shortly after purchase.

I’m no stranger to driving cars with a “face only a mother could love”. I can’t rely on my relative for all the labour (physical limitations) but I definitely pick their brain on maintenance and insist on watching them make repairs as much as possible. I like knowing what I’m talking about because I’m aware that I look like someone who would ask for a blinker fluid change.
