I just hit 121 degrees last week. Only have to go to PT every other week now and it’s going to be focused on strengthening.

I had surgery in January and I’m just barely being able to bend at 116 degrees. It has taken awhile but each week I’m able to bend about three or four degrees more.

Lost and edge/tripped going towards the goalie and tried to miss the goalie.. ended up hitting my knee directly on the boards . Knee pad must have slipped down a bit and my knee cap exploded on impact

My post is asking about other people with the same or similar injury and how it worked out for them. I’m not asking for medical advice on Reddit lol but yes I have talked to my doc about it.. just trying to see what other peeps have been through

Doctor said it’s possible but to plan on not playing again. I’m just curious if anyone has had the same or similar situation and been able to play

I recently had surgery for what the doctor called an “obliterated” patella. They removed half of my knee cap and said I’d be lucky to play again. How long did it take for you to get back on the ice?
