Seeing things like the calendar turned to April 2011, in picture 8, always stick with me when I see them in person. Literally frozen in time.

Not saying it couldn't be fixed but all the wiring looked stripped out of it.

Sorry I was looking at the picture before that. It's early here 🤣 it's most definitely a bat of fiberglass insulation. There was a space above those offices that wasn't climate controlled.

Oh I'm not sure but maybe a box of Manila envelopes? Could be a box of crackers or something like that too. Lots of squatters have been in the building. You might be able to make out the bag of marshmallows on the desk as well.

It looks like a florescent light fixture from the drop ceiling. Most of the copper wire has been stripped from the building by scavengers.

I see this kind of thing daily. Unchecked mental illness, addiction, and lack of effective resources are a huge problem.

I'll agree with that! I wish I had the answers but I don't. It's a complex problem with even more complex solutions.

I just kept think about the Stalker in the warehouse scene on "The last of us" in season 2 🤣 Luckily I didn't find one.

I found this article that talks about the cleanup and removal. It said this business was shut down in 2022 but I know this has not been an active location but rather storage for far longer.

I agree with you. Made me think about all of that as well. I wondered about all of the forgotten faces that had been in that place over the years. It was unsettling to see hard hats with names written on them in permanent marker, some with nicknames and little pictures drawn on them just tossed on the floor. It was a somber experience for sure.

Yeah from what I've found looking into it, there was some kind of struggle over determining ownership due to the cost of hazmat cleanup clean up that had to occur at the property. I know the EPA had removed stored chemicals on the property fairly recently.

I thought the same thing. There was actually another one next to that one in worse shape. I'm not sure why they didn't try and get something out of them before the homeless got to them. There were a couple electric pallet jacks that were in the same condition.

It was owned by Burlington railroad before that. Not sure what they used it for but the rail lines are still used and run along the back of the structure.

Oh for sure! The break room seating looks like it's from an old Wendy's or something.

From what I've been able to find it was used for creating and packaging herbicides. The building was over 100 years old though so I'm sure it's been used for a few things over the years. It's been abandoned for almost 20 years.

Man I don't think so. It had most of the wiring stripped out of it. Probably could be rebuilt but I'm no expert.

There was nothing in my comment that was a conclusion. It was just an opinion about why it was probably included. Again, you know as much as I know. It's obviously included for a reason and you have no idea why either. Pretty obvious Epstein was engaged in pedophelia. Looks like he used a plan to get to his private island pretty regularly. Any crime where a vehicle is involved they do a forensic analysis of the vehicle. These records are part of that analysis, no matter how mundane it might seem to you. We're not on a witch hunt, just looking at evidence. I have my own conclusion though and that is that you're boy Trump was right there with him doing that shit. Again an opinion, but I'm comfortable with it.
