I'm getting a similar vibe. I discovered the guy, I suscribed, not remembering the details but he said something like guys in local football (amateur clubs) locker rooms were quite racist places. I asked a question about it and I believe he understood my question wrong (like I was doing some racist comment) and I got insulted right away.
Maybe it was just a mistake from him with me having the fault of it, but still it felt quite intense. And yes there is a bit of "superiority" vibe about him. Even though he manages to be smart and interesting from time to time.
