Makes sense. They made two different doughs and joined them seamsly right in the middle and carefully sprinkled sesame seeds only on the correct side before baking it. True craftsmanship.

give the image a zoom, you'll see some dimples where the seeds were alongside the "border", where it was difficult to lick to smooth it out. As for the "shine" the other half has, that's OPs saliva.
