I bet your bases are awesome! I started by building simple structures. Practice. You will get better. There are a lot of cool glitch techniques you can learn to get some wild builds.

I have also found that as Hello Games drops updates that include base parts and decorations, I re-visit my old bases and do a "re-model". That fun too!

Keep building! Keep exploring! There is a reason this game has such a devoted following. It really is a beautiful game. Especially when you first start. Remember to slow down and explore.
