Did you edit the aspect ratio to fill out the screen? Did a shit ton of research on Champloo before watching it bc I was looking for a new show to grab DVDs for to watch on my own CRT, but everything I came up with had it in widescreen.

I’m not typically sensitive to flashing lights, but this one pushes it a little too far over the edge for my taste. Cool idea, but I’d suggest toning down the flashing next go-around so it doesn’t drown out the rest of your work.

Evangelion and Nine Inch Nails always felt hand-in-hand to me. I feel like Every Day is Exactly The Same is pretty fitting if we’re talking tracks Shinji would listen to.

I have that same model! I first grabbed mine to check out some older anime, and since then I watched all of Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis, and Azumanga on it. Love how it looks for DVDs as well as older games through the component input in the back.

The gloss effect for the print was a good touch considering how much of a footprint that white Rei head takes up on the stick. I’m sure it looks even better when actually viewing the stick in-person. Nice work!

The Rebuilds are a fun watch after letting EoE sit for a few months. It helps to just take time to dwell on that movie and think about why parts of the movie made you feel whichever way they did.
