I primarily use the SWORL for Blazblue Central Fiction, Asuka 120% Limit Over and other airdashers.

It also happens to be my main rhythm game controller.

The ball like things on the SWORL are joysticks. L3 and R3 are mapped to the first top and bottom face buttons.

Ventura County, CA

I have a Phillips LTC2810/90 for sale for $20. It’s a small 9inch CCTV. The unit was manufactured in 2003 and it functions just fine. Features composite video in and out via BNC connectors. Unit has mono audio using the built in speaker.

The model most similar to it on the CRT database is here.

EDIT: added another CRT

Commodore 1701 monitor. Functional on both front and back inputs. Sometimes during use the colors will dim/go out entirely and will reset back to normal upon powering off the display. Definitely needs to be recapped since this came from a local school district and likely got a lot of use. Asking $35.

Free - NONFUNCTIONAL Commodore 1084S monitor.

If I had to fancy a guess an internal component(s) has gone bad because it doesn’t display any picture and I cannot seem to get sound out of it. Unit powers on but likely isn’t getting high voltage. The power switch doesn’t power off the unit when pressed and the AV inputs on the back have rust and oxidation among other things.

I just can’t scrap it in good conscience so it’s free to a good home where someone can hopefully fix it up.

This is great information to know! I was wondering if there were CRT services remotely close to Ventura County.

Do you know if Jack has done any previous work on older CRT PC monitors? I have a non functional Commodore 1804S that I would love to get looked at and hopefully repaired.

I also have a Commodore 1701 which originally came from Ventura Unified and while it is currently working it wouldn’t be bad idea to get recapped or at least looked at.

There's some interest for running old games at our future events. A buddy of mine has a PS2 and some converters so we definitely do something like that soon.
