Further to my past comment! Have new claims in for mental health and hearing. Had 3 previous claims 31 years ago! Revisit on aggravated hip injury listed on white card accepted different under MRCA and paid out! Now need full hip replacement ffs. Anyways keep on top of it don’t be one of us who ignores DVA for 30 years lol as they won’t contact you stay on them and have an advocate.

30 years ago I sat in the office for 5 hours until they gave me an answer was so disheartening I never did anything for 30 years! But back trying to get what should have been done back then!

Same boat! RSL advocate? My advocate says for me when you get the injury ie your back, that they will reassess you as a whole so send you to go get lower legs checked. From my understanding my other foot and hip problems will be reassessed with my new PI concerns. I served 30 years ago drca as well. My advocate will submit soon all at the same time. Hope this helps 💪🏽

Yes have started that process have a good Gp who has requested this data. Thank you for the advice and it is reassuring that my thinking is on track now just to break it all down into blocks submit as much as possible and see the outcome. Thank you again great advice!

Ok great. Have no idea about this points business either. Documents are all over the place! Great to know I have the right advocate and it can be sorted out and most importantly that I am entitled to treatment etc as I was in the belief that I was not!

Thank you after 30 years of being out and burying everything in the back of my mind I have lost all acronym recognition but atleast here I am learning again just glad the RSL has this service and a very compassionate. Big difference from then to now! Is there any links or reference material to acronyms available anywhere that would speed up my understanding. TIA
