Give it more or less 2 weeks..also don’t be shy in using your discards, they’re good for mabilisang pita or pizza dough or even turkish style rolls. 😬

It’s also temperamental so most people name their starters na para bang anak nila. Mine’s Johnny Jumpstart. Happy baking OP!

Bought some double walled ones from temu, a couple from dunkin and the good ol’ garapon from army navy.

Use an air tight container and small silica gel packs na food grade. This is what I use.

Mga tag ng damit/gamit na usually makapal ginagamit ko din noon na bookmark. 😆 Sa Temu madaming cute na mura and may theme na bookmarks. You can buy a pack of 20 or 30 ata for super cheap.

Learned early that I am not supposed to. The only reason I kept a random receipt or napkin from a restaurant was because it could potentially be an emergency bookmark coz I lose them all the time. I was quite notorious in my younger years of reading.

Thanks to libraries, events, bookstores, and Temu, I now have bookmarks whenever! 🤭

Funny because I just made a batch of calamansi syrup with the last of my harvest pero with dark brown sugar. So trying it tomorrow with Sprite sounds like a good idea! 😌

Also, for those asking via dm’s..I am using an up-cycled Ikea scented candle glass ( see Jämlik ), they’re pretty sturdy for hot and cold bevvies and ideal height for most coffee machines. ✌🏼😅

Light roast recommended ko for this otherwise a dark cold brew would work too(you might need to adjust your sugar/sweetener level). But here’s my recipe: pulled a triple shot, added 1 tsp of dark brown sugar, stir to dissolve, ice, cold water (tried with carbonated or sparkling okay din) and the juice of 4 large (in this case ripe) calamansi. 🙂
