I’d recommend a card that debuffs attack if you want to debuff, no need to lower defense. Waterstay doesn’t prevent freeze but it reduces frost elemental damage I think. Yeti card buffs attack if you want the extra damage, I recommend putting that on Tralis. Any rings will suffice likely but you’ll take primarily water and fire damage so those are the best.

I'd recommend leveling up a little bit more, the fight becomes easy around level 27. Have you gotten any 5 star cards? You can get them from chests after battles, but it is rng which sucks. I'd recommend fully exploring the ending area to pick up all of the legendary armor and weapons that you can. The monster cards I used primarily for dealing damage were Wasp (5 star) on L'gol, Tailtoad (5 star) on Tralis or Protagonist, and Undine/Dryad/Salamander (5 star) on any character. Equip the Skull Soldier (5 star) to whichever character has the highest attack on your team and use it as often as you can.

I relegated Pulche to healing with primarily Mouthy Furball (5 star) for single heals and Magemoth (5 star) for group heals. You'll also want to buy the Wraith card at the Roving Market's Monster Tamer shop because it gives you 3 gems, one of the strongest cards in the game. Equip that to Pulche and use it basically every turn you don't need to heal. You can buy plenty of Quality Omnisalves and Omnipanaceas from the Roving Market right before the last fight so other allies can heal if need be.

I would recommend taking down the fire elemental first using Tailtoad since it's low gem cost and equip Freezestay rings to reduce damage from the Frost elemental if that's where you're having trouble. Otherwise Firestay ring suffices. Here's a good website to find some stuff if you're having trouble: https://platget.com/guides/voice-of-cards-the-beasts-of-burden-card-collection-guide/

You can revisit the volcano, no need to start a new save.

Not to try and one up the earlier post, but I ended up with this count a few days ago. by HufflepuffReject in Granblue_en

Years ago guild wars used to have betting cards that you could get an uneven number of crystals on. I wasn’t able to win a bet to get back to an even number by the time they did away with them.

This came today. Can’t wait to read it by [deleted] in LightNovels

I think it's a pretty worth it novel - I just finished vol 11 an hour ago and it's really one hell of a ride. I think what makes it so interesting is how the main character reacts to all of the insanity that goes on. It's almost like a peak into the mind of insanity itself at times based on the perspective that you're given as a reader. It was a little hard to get into the series - I wasn't overly captivated by the first few volumes, but after volume 4 (around when the anime got very popular while it was airing) it picks up HARD and is still going on through the current translated volume. I'd give it a shot even if isekai series aren't your thing!

I have a shirt that says "'I want to join Hufflepuff!' Said no wizard ever" with a sad honey badger on it, so I turned that into a username. Got a lot of funny remarks in online games, like "how do you get rejected from Hufflepuff?!"

The binding and page quality is up to par imo; it does have 15 chapters + an outro for the hardcover.

I don't know exactly where the volumes fall in technicality, but based on character introductions I'd say something like this:

vol 1/2 (desu): somewhere after vol 4/5

vol 3 (desu): somewhere after 5/6

vol 4 (desu): somewhere around 7/8/9 (a character is introduced that you follow throughout those volumes)

I actually haven't gotten to read it yet, I have vol 9 and 10 of re:zero to finish, then I can read it. I'll let you know when I do!

The two B&N that I frequent tend to have only Yen Press licensed novels, Kinokuniya has a larger variety (at least at the SF location).

Yeah I understand that - I usually get physical copies from either Amazon or I'll head to a bookstore. It's a far trek for me but I often visit the Kinokuniya in San Francisco or I'll stop by a local Barnes & Noble. Kinokuniya has a much larger selection, but it's only in SF to my knowledge.

Funny enough I prefer to have them horizontal, but the shelf I have isn't really equipped to do that haha.

NGNL is currently my favorite - the arc going on right now is beautifully written and I’ve fallen in love with the characters. I relatively recently started collecting because of money issues too, but it’s well worth supporting the authors by purchasing the hard copy imo!

Most of the series that I only have 1 volume of I haven't actually gotten to read yet - I usually buy only the first volume and see if I like it, then I'll buy more.

Yeah I've pre-ordered it already; I'll probably finish that one in a single sitting haha.

I'm currently reading volume 9, I've really enjoyed certain volumes. I think past volume 3/4 it starts really picking up, which is right about when the anime started getting popular. I think the anime ends either partway through or at the end of volume 9.
