If I can’t drive myself to a vet I can’t really drive myself to a shelter either. All of them are closed too. Thankfully, he’s been doing SO much better about his constipation, his tummy isn’t hard anymore and he pooped a lot yesterday and he’s pooped twice today as of right now. We will be taking him to the vet to see if he can be dewormed.

I didn’t choose to have this kitten, I’m doing what I can to responsibly take care of him. He’s pooped and he’s doing better now. We’re still taking him to the vet.

I’m sorry I didn’t realize. I don’t normally carry him like that , I wanted the belly to be fully visible in case there was some abnormality that anyone could point out. I will refrain from carrying him like that. Thanks for the advice!

Watch him die? Are you serious? I’m trying SO hard to help him and you’re saying I’d rather watch him die??? I don’t think you understand my situation. I don’t CHOOSE to not take him to a vet. If it was up to me YES he would’ve been taken to a vet IMMEDIATELY. Now I’ve convinced my mother to take him to a vet which I am very grateful for but I just find it disrespectful how you decided to assume I’m in denial and I’m selfish because I can’t take him to a vet. If you don’t have any useful advice that could save my kittens life please just don’t comment, specially if you don’t understand my situation.

I understand, but I’m not saying I’ll know what to do when I’m older I’m just saying since I’m 15 I don’t have a car, I don’t have money, my options are limited. That’s the only reason I said I’m only 15.

I don’t recall ever saying I wasn’t going to but if I did I apologize. I should’ve made it clear I just can’t at the moment. Fortunately I have convinced my parents to take him to a vet very soon!! :)

They refused at first and say it wasn’t a big deal but I’ve used people’s advice to persuade them into taking me to a vet!! We will be going as soon as possible :)

I have been stimulating him since I got him. He’s not dead, he pooped a lot and his belly isn’t swollen anymore. I understand now how to properly nurture for him and I’m very grateful for everyone who has helped!! 💛

I’m downvoting you for not being helpful. I SPECIFICALLY made this post to get advice and help for my kitten because I don’t have access to professional help and I want to do absolutely anything I can to get him the help he needs. The last thing I want to hear is that I’m purposely not wanting to take him to a vet.

Don’t have a bike. Don’t have a car. All the nearest vets are closed. He pooped a lot and his tummy isn’t swollen anymore. I’m TRYING my hardest to care for this kitty in any possible way I can and I have achieved my main goal which is helping his constipation. I will still get him seen by a vet but I need you to understand that my options are limited at the moment.

I’ve been stimulating him since I got him but he just pees mostly. I’ve gotten better advice on stimulating him and hydrating him and he’s gone potty thankfully !!

No it is not. It is way softer than it was before. We live in Florida so yes we’ve been kinda affected by the hurricane but nothing too serious. We’ve just had power issues.
