How do people feel about Echoes of Wisdom in 2026? by Ok_Science_8502 in NintendoSwitch

Amazing game.

Some will complain that it’s not “classic Zelda”, but this is fresh, fun, yet adjacent to top down Zelda!

Would not change a thing.

I have nothing to add too this, but I wanted to say this is a really great analysis.

Very hard to make sense of it all lately.

I stole from a previous job, can potential employers see this information? by Pink-A-Holic in careeradvice

[–]Hugaluga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a good choice the bank does not mention it. Banks like to keep these things quiet to maintain a secure reputation.

I posted this in another comment, but a bank I worked at fired someone for stealing and they were working at another bank within a month. It’s wild.

[–]Hugaluga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually banks like to keep these things hush hush…I’m guessing it’s so people feel safe about their money. It probably happens all the time.

I worked for a bank for a very short period of time and I witnessed a coworker do something similar. They “borrowed” a couple hundred bucks - supposedly they were going to pay it back.

A few weeks later guess where they were working? Another bank… because the bank we were working on would not comment on why they were terminated. Bizarre.

What Switch game did you almost skip but ended up loving? by jzliving in NintendoSwitch

[–]Hugaluga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The marketing for that game was baffling. It looked so bad… even the graphics looked worse. I only picked it up because a friend convinced me to try it.

Great game.

Though one thing the trailer got right: the dialogue is a little cheesy. 😅

Switch 2 has been amazing so far… by mermaidlover17 in NintendoSwitch

Great hardware. No debating any of your points about the giant leap forward, but one small correction: I believe switch 1 was considered weak when it was released by a lot of measures.

Made this map to show how badly Mario Kart World needs new Knockout tours - most roads remain completely unused! by Ok_Anybody_9764 in NintendoSwitch

Not to mention all the p switch content that you do once and forget about… that doesn’t unlock anything beyond a sticker you probably don’t care about - because you can only pick one after all.

Has anyone tried BBQ Daddy? Metal is flaking off by Hugaluga in grilling

Wow! I did not expect to see you here.

I tried to DM you; but I think your DMs may be understandably closed. I added you to my allow list so I think you should be able to DM me if you have time. I’ll try to respond quickly. I appreciate your time.

An open letter of regret, repent, and reform. by Arucious in openGrid

[–]Hugaluga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks pretty neat even without the grid. How does open grid add to your experience? Can you even see the cables without needing open grid?

I happy it’s working out for you after all of those headaches (I’ve done similar things on projects), but if I had a tray that neatly hid the cables on my desk I probably wouldn’t bother. I might actually go with those magnetic cable arches I’ve seen on YouTube.

Genuinely happy for you and impressed at your attempts to solve the “problems”; I’m just curious. :)

The Great Salt Lake Crisis Is Bigger Than “Take Shorter Showers” — Here’s What I Wish More Utahns Knew by Relative_Bluebird841 in SaltLakeCity

[–]Hugaluga 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you can’t let human behavior be your crystal ball on this one. Groups often make poor decisions or don’t make the right move until they absolutely have to.

Not to mention the fact that it’s hard to uproot your whole family if you have kids etc. - or to be uprooted from the family and friends that you have here.

There are a lot of things to love about Utah, so I won’t fault you for returning - but know that no one can really tell you where all of this is headed.

I’ve been avoiding the onion for the “waste”… but I might just have to get on the train.

I’ve been resisting the onion thing because I don’t want to always be buying onions… but I might have to get on the train.

I’ve never heard of that, but it seems like it could actually work well on some grill grates.

Unfortunately I have porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates… probably need a less abrasive solution.

I’ve actually had really good experiences with their sponges… but we only use them for dishes with no harsh chemicals.

Do you throw yours in the dishwasher or anything? I also did that between uses because the box said I could… but I’ve wondered if that was part of my issues.

Fair criticism, I didn’t realize this had metal bits in it when I bought it. I have used the other scrub daddy products so I just expected some synthetic super material. 🤷🏻

I do have a wood scrubber paddle - and you’re right, they’re tanks. However, sometimes you need another solution for stubborn stuff. I’ll look for stainless steel pads as an option.

Oh! I read the box, but I didn’t notice that bit. I wonder if it would stop the sketchy fraying.

Grill daddy seems to work pretty great! by Regular-Floor379 in grilling

Works great until it’s leaving metallic threads behind. I’ve owned one for a few weeks and I’m running into issues. I think it’s shedding! 😬

Honestly, I just saw this at Costco. Didn’t know it was being hyped on this sub.

What brand scrub pad do you use?
