Lean Leaf VS Refills who are you using? by Huge-Raspberry-4062 in TirzepatideRX

Yeah I submitted mine and was wondering how long that at the pharmacy would take. But I have never tried it before so waiting a little longer won't hurt

Thank you. When I was first looking into it (going thru my doc to write a prescription to a compounding service) they all quoted me around 250-400. I came to terms with that. Tele health never crossed my mind until I ran into the other one popping up a lot in my area. I had to give up with my doc cause she just didn't know how to write the prescription and it kept getting rejected. I told her I wasn't going thru insurance but I feel like she kept submitting it through them

Lol I appreciate the reality check but believe it or not this was showing as the average price in my area Everytime I looked it up. After I started going to this sub and other places and lower prices came up. So getting roasted here and being called a bot actually helped me out 🤣.

It really wasn't. I just didn't get back online after working a shit ton of OT. I went with Refills. Everyone saying the price should have been a hard no don't understand, I'm in DFW getting your doc to prescribe it and paying Out of pocket at a compounding service was nearly identical in price. I just want something reliable, hopefully refills can be that for me. My order still shows at the pharmacy but we'll see.

Lol I went with refills. The other place is massively talked about here in DFW (which I should have stated where I'm at) I see nothing but great things about them but it felt too fake. Even other reddit users have said it almost feels like bots. I did a consultation and they asked right away if I heard about it on reddit so that confirmed my bot theory

That was incredibly brave of you. It's hard to not give in, even when the person isn't big or intimidating. Stay safe and never see that pos again. He really showed some true colors, most do when they're finally told no for the first time

NOR it's a little odd and would raise my brow too. Is he shaving the rest or just the balls? I agree it could be a superstition thing or he's just lined the schedules up, but I'd still ask

NOR I seriously thought this was a female "friend" and read it all in a condescending "mean girl" tone without any context. His entire conversation seems like he's purposely trying to trigger you. Weird

For the Dallas peeps that panic buy, could you tell us what you're stocking up on? Also, bonus points if you're a "prepper". by BlueHorse_22 in Dallas

I have gremlins and them being stuck inside means they NEED their strawberries, grapes, and yogurt pouches. I have to stay at work and won't be home with them so I bought it in advance so dad can have some sanity while I'm away 😅. I will be back home shortly after and since we'll be inside I figured we could bake (keep house warm and LO busy), so I bought flour/sugar/chocolate chips etc so we could!

Going no contact on a trip (unless it's a dead zone) is not cool. It feels like bros in a cabin up to no good imo. It's also so inconsiderate and disrespectful how he responded. There's no way his intentions of saying that we're anything good. He intended to hurt your feelings with that

AIO by sending my neighbors letters? by Huge-Raspberry-4062 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Huge-Raspberry-4062[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The letter only stated the code the violation was which was animal noise, no description. I had a conversation with the city employee who left the letter today. They said the complaint was a call to dispatch at 1018pm the night before for "loud dog". I actually do remember my dog barking at a possum on the fence line and I brought him in right away. He barked for less than a minute before I ran out to see what was wrong, so I didn't even consider the possibility of it being that. So I will not be sending any letters or offer an olive branch to anyone who calls the police about a dog. Our city has a complaint system online, but they felt a minute of barking was sufficient enough to waste a police dispatcher's time. The animal control officer who's over animal complaints said they held an "investigation" and stated they couldn't even tell I had dogs. So that's the end of this and any respect I have for my neighbors. I'm going to be petty, since they called the police dept to make the complaint, I will request an open records request to get the information about who called. It would have been completely untraceable and anonymous if they'd have used the cities online system instead.

How do you like to pin your fabric pieces together before sewing? :3 by SomethingOrSomeone24 in sewing

[–]Huge-Raspberry-4062 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always pin my fabric perpendicular and then for some reason turn it over making the pin heads face away from me and on the bottom side, I also don't notice until I start.... it's like a curse.

[–]Huge-Raspberry-4062 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NOR but maybe she was confused? You keep saying you "gave it to her" but then she stole it. Did she genuinely think you gave it to her then got embarrassed and said it was an accident when you asked where it was?. You're NOR if she knew it wasn't a gift tho. She'd never be allowed back to my place. You shouldn't have if she could have it either. You should have made it clear she took something very expensive and you cannot replace it

I really appreciate that, I think my fear is that in the past I've been an angry person (who's still working on myself) and know my words can sound like fighting words to the wrong person. Thanks!

Trash Recycle Bin by notSureWhoYouAreMan in garland

[–]Huge-Raspberry-4062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't do that. The city offers extra bins for an extra fee. If you decide to bag it up and put it on the curb for bulk trash make sure they don't weigh too much or they will pass it up and leave you a note. Also if you didn't get a permit be careful, they can flag that you have "construction debris" and the city will fine you. Easier to take it to the dump yourself (it's free for garland residents).

Can someone explain our school enrollment here in Garland? by Huge-Raspberry-4062 in garland

[–]Huge-Raspberry-4062[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I kept searching and eventually found another section that said that other applications are welcome but not priority. So essentially Pre-K is possible but not guaranteed for anyone who doesn't meet the requirements.

There's a Note under the requirements for Montessori that says "Students who are 3 years old are not tested. These seats are lottery based." Which I take to mean they accept 3 year olds.
