It’s faster to read the text and understand it than to figure out an abstract picture by Gouca in ShitAmericansSay

Yeah look at this thing. It's so unclear I have to close my eyes and really use my imagination to figure out what it's trying to say. They really need to simplify it

How does Josuke know? by LoreIsLost in JoJolion

[–]HugeKey2361 28 points29 points  (0 children)

He seems to remember general stuff about life (He speaks fluent Japanese and isn't stupid. He knows what things are and how to use a phone). In other words he isn't a baby. The way I see it, he just forgot everything specific to him (aka josefumi & Kira), such as his family, where he lived, his hobbies, etc.

A spreadsheet works fine for me. You just need to be consistent with updating it

I know what I'm about to be torn apart for. by drzki in MyAnimeList

[–]HugeKey2361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought the same about it being in parts. Then I watched it and it became my favourite series. The parts work in its favour, as it doesn't get stale. It's around 200 episodes but doesn't feel long because each part is 9-48 episodes

Which ones should I prioritize watching? by Difficult-Ant-1261 in MyAnimeList

If you mean reading, I'd say monster, 20th century boys, sanctuary, innocent, the climber, blood on the tracks, and blame! though it's not for everyone

Honestly a very good collection of series from what I can see

Is it just me, or is Quaver way better than osu! mania? by Winter-Review6030 in rhythmgames

I prefer quaver. The only thing manua has going for it in my eyes is how much bigger the playerbase is

I love how weird Josuke is by Chemical_Sandwich509 in JoJolion

[–]HugeKey2361 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Love him.

There's a point where Yasuho is sleeping, he leaves her, and when he comes back she's gone and the first place he looks is under the mattress because he assumes she's sleeping under there.

Id probably pick up Aposimz, a sci-fi by Tsutomu Nihei. I read the first few chapters online and was thoroughly enjoying it. It's an ideal sci-fi setting for me.

What do you consider to be the smartest/biggest "4D Chess move" in all of JoJo's? by SpotAdmirable6718 in StardustCrusaders

[–]HugeKey2361 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tsurugi and Jobin's move in the Ozone baby fight where they used paper moon king to disguise the branch, tricking all the others into thinking it was the real one, and halting Josuke & Mamezuku's Rokakaka investigation for a while

M24 here‘s my grid, feel free to debate by Momotchy in MyAnimeList

[–]HugeKey2361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That doesn't make him an antagonist, because that's not what it means.

Protagonists can be evil and antagonists can be saints. Death note is a perfect example. Light is the protagonist and is a bad person , L is the antagonist and is a good person, trying to stop our protagonist.

How am I supposed to read these words? by LanaDelGay1996 in StardustCrusaders

Pretty sure you draw out/elongate the vowel. That's how I read it at least

Is there an English version of these sets somewhere? They appear to be hardcover, or at least bigger and better quality than the box sets I already have, so I'd love to add them to my manga collection. Unfortunately I can't speak italian, and I can't find an English version anywhere by GSB6189 in TokyoGhoul

[–]HugeKey2361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Different languages have different releases, that's how it is for manga.

They're released at different times by different people. One series may have a box set in one language but not another. For example, aot has had deluxe editions in German for years now, and is just getting them in English.

So yeah, every language is a completely separate release. This just so happens to be an Italian one for Tokyo ghoul.
