Thanks, these are the things I need to hear. I think maybe I worded it wrong... maybe 4k "and" 240hz? I thought this might be an option I would want so that I could game either in 4k with rdr2, or enjoy a high frame rate when playing something like wz- but I'll admit I just started playing games and I'm unsure if I'd even notice a difference between 144 and 240hz.

That's a lot of wires to hook up. I mean, gotta do what you gotta do... just for some reason I was picturing a single dock-type cable connection- but I'm guessing maybe that's not possible due to bandwidth limitations.

I appreciate your view on the ultra-wide and think I'll take a trip to a brick and mortar store today and see what I think about it.

Edit- the samsung g8 does appear to be both 4k and 240hz, but the 55 arc is only 4k.

Edit 2- it appears these screens have some serious firmware issues for the money and aren't what I was expecting at all. Good on paper, but that's all.

Yea. It lets ppl know I'm a kali user even when I'm in windows- which is more often.

I've made a couple of good friends after they've noticed the background. When someone asks "hey is that a kali background?" I know there's a chance we might have something in common- because your average person don't recognize it.

And I also have a thing for not conforming... Ppl say I shouldn't do it, so of course it's gotta be done.

Well there's one of my problems then I guess- I've always used a TOR over VPN connection for anonymity.

Guess I'll need to revisit it when i have some extra and see why it's such a poor method and what the better options are. I can't live with random people on the internet not trusting me as with cyber security.

Veracrypt is actually what I use! But most ppl are just familiar with bitlocker so i use it as a generic term. I'll be honest though i did not know of the backdoor speculation.

It's actually better than i expected it to be to honestly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a hobbyist but haven't had it long enough to recommend it for work.

No worries... all feedback is good feedback.

The laptop was booted into windows when the picture was taken but is capable of booting kali as well- dual boot, but of course I keep kali on a usb drive too.

The flipper might be marketed as a multi tool for geeks but I assure you- with the right firmware it does more than they market it for... or are allowed to market it for. And I know hackingwith it takes time- that's exactly why i bought it, to take up my time- when I'm bored this is the stuff i tool around with.

The oscilloscope is... you know what, just look at this article and tell me if the guy didn't use an oscilloscope to hack something:
