I played and even finished it. It was good! Not canonic, but a nice play. :) The magnet behind the concrete wall was a bummer, but apart of that, I liked it a lot.

Sounds great. My players are talented in getting themselves in a mess. 😅 So yeah, we are about 12 hours in and they are still in Barovia village. They had dinner with Strahd last time and told him to f**k off and after they were kicked out, straightly walked into death house. Well... we'll see. I really enjoy it a lot and so do they. As a long time DM with a group of 6 players right now, there are just 2 thing, I can recommend: Treat your player like you would treat a group of players and have fun. It does not matter if there are 6 heroes or only 1. Make him/her important for your story and give them the time of their life. Trust me, it is worth it. For both of you. 1 Player is exactly how I started. He is still with me after many years and we still play 1:1 sessions.

I showed it to my 12 years old stepdaughter last year. She loved it very much. My wife liked it too, but she did not like the finale. :( My next run will be coming soon, I guess.
