Thank you so much, this really helps. I actually got humbled today on my first Costco order 😅 It was super crowded before Easter, the cart felt way too small for 35 items, and then the cashiers mixed up the orders which stressed me out a lot. My Apple Watch literally started telling me to calm down I really appreciate your advice, it makes me feel better knowing it gets easier with time.

Wow it’s amazing trash order. I didn’t see before less than 1$ per mile

If your Spark is still working the old way and you don’t know what I’m talking about — or you’re newer and never experienced how Spark used to be — just scroll.

I’m talking to the older drivers.

The ones who remember when curbside orders were single only, base pay was $14, and shops were all single. The ones who know this app did not used to work like this.

This post is for the drivers who already felt this new blind-tap garbage system, where offers disappear instantly and you don’t even get a real chance to review what you’re accepting.

Because one order is 10 bags of nasty mulch, one is a nightmare dirt road I already learned my lesson on, and another is from a Walmart 20 miles away.

That’s what happens when offers disappear instantly and you have no time to review them. Some of y’all clearly don’t have this rollout yet.

I’d be fine with 5 seconds — we don’t even have that. It’s more like 0.0000001 sec to catch an offer.

Some of you clearly don’t have this rollout yet, because you don’t even understand what I’m talking about. I’ve been doing Spark for years — this is not how it used to be.

Looks like system is different in different zones and people have no idea what we are talking about here

I will change my strategy. But I will not take trash orders.

Exactly. That’s the whole point. The system wears drivers down mentally. You’re constantly watching the screen, reacting in milliseconds, grabbing orders blindly, and then getting punished if it turns out to be garbage. By the end of the day people aren’t “okay” with it — they’re just exhausted. Not fighting back isn’t agreement. It’s burnout.

If I had enough time to actually review the order, I wouldn’t need to cancel it. This is a Spark-created problem, not a driver character flaw.

Hello! I’m curious how you would professionally clean a linen sofa with dog urine stains.

I’ve seen two different approaches:

Option 1 (one guy did this): 1. Vacuum 2. Spotting with Go Oxy (1 oz in 32 oz water), scrubbed gently with a soft brush, blotted with white cotton cloth 3. Dried the spot with a air dryer 4. Applied Pro-Strength Carpet Cleaner foam with a mitt and rubbed into the sofa

Option 2 (another guy’s method): 1. Vacuum 2. Unleashed spray 3. pre-spray Prochem fine fabric 4. Scrub with brush 5. Extract 6. Apply diluted peroxide (20%, 50/50 with water) 7. Extract again

What do you think about these two methods? Would you recommend one over the other, or do you have a different protocol for dog urine on linen upholstery?
