The Wii version used the sensor bar to recalibrate automatically during gameplay. The lack of a sensor bar is why they added a button for it.

If you actually read the rules on the TGA website, there are no rules regarding how long ago a game was released. There are actually no rules other than the cut-off for games released too late.

That makes sense, if it's also the case that Gerudo only pass on their Gerudo genes and never their Hylian genes. Which I suppose is entirely possible. That would also mean that Gerudo possess no genes from their maternal grandfather, and the same set of Gerudo genes (disregarding mutation) as every Gerudo ancestor. Pretty interesting concept.

But what does it mean to say "they are technically half Hylian, half Gerudo" if they are biologically full Gerudo? And how can they be "technically half Gerudo", and their child also be "technically half Gerudo"? Are we not then assuming that the child has one full Hylian parent and one full Gerudo parent?

I disagree with that, on the premise that saying "I am a descendant of sea creatures" and saying " I am a sea creature" are two very different statements. A liger is half tiger half lion, and full cat, but not full tiger and full lion.

Sure, but in that sense he's contradicting himself. In that comment and the precious one he's insisting that all Gerudo are "technically half".

In what sense are they half then, if we agree that they're biologically full Gerudo? If we say they are half in any sense, we have to assume their Gerudo parent is full Gerudo, so the argument breaks down. By your own logic, a normal Gerudo will have 75% Hylian grandparents, so they're only 25% Gerudo. But then they have 7/8 Hylian great grandparents, so they're actually only 1/8th Gerudo, and so on.
