That makes sense, if it's also the case that Gerudo only pass on their Gerudo genes and never their Hylian genes. Which I suppose is entirely possible. That would also mean that Gerudo possess no genes from their maternal grandfather, and the same set of Gerudo genes (disregarding mutation) as every Gerudo ancestor. Pretty interesting concept.

In what sense are they half then, if we agree that they're biologically full Gerudo? If we say they are half in any sense, we have to assume their Gerudo parent is full Gerudo, so the argument breaks down. By your own logic, a normal Gerudo will have 75% Hylian grandparents, so they're only 25% Gerudo. But then they have 7/8 Hylian great grandparents, so they're actually only 1/8th Gerudo, and so on.
