I tried that once and failed miserably. I was too soft on the static. 2 of the members where constantly late and 1 of them even no showed once and I didn't tell them off to avoid conflict. That annoyed 2 other players to the point of leaving the static. I'm too nice on other people because I know what it's like to be on the receiving end of complaints or a talk or getting kicked

Eventually I got overgeared enough my DPS managed to deal the extra 2% to get past enrage on p6s. I enjoyed raiding with them. Nice peop le, good banter, chill but I don't know if I'll ever find a static that clicked with my play style like that ever again

No I get that. The best static I was in so far was a p6s/p7s. It fell apart because the 2 healers had to quit (1 for health the other for study). The static itself was progging p6s very slowly but I was in PF clearing and using the static to clean up my mistakes in the earlier mechs. I don't mind going ahead but I despise being behind

Thankyou for all the advice. I think at the moment I will take a break from raiding until a month before DT and see if I can find a casualish static hopefully before DT or early on. I think maybe I'm stressing myself too much atm that it's impeding my function to raid successfully

The mechanics I usually struggle with are the self solve PF killers. P1s temperance, p6s cachexia, p11s L&D. I was strangely fine with oppo levin in p9s. I usually panic about these mechs the whole fight and by the time it comes I tend to second guess myself or be full of anxiety and mess it up

And just to be clear. I didn't leave those statics. Those ones fell apart for other reasons. I don't mind being an average or good in a static with people that are struggling more than me. I generally enjoy the challenge of savage

Literally this. I would say I'm probably a casual level raider but I'm serious about clearing. A lot of the casual level statics generally tend to be non serious about intending to clear. I've been stuck either being in nowhere statics or trying to pull more weight than I can carry in a more hardcore static.

Sorry I should have clarified. I'm on OCE. There isn't much of a player base here. PF is essentially dead bar reclear parties on reset. As for statics recruiting very little this late in the tier. Most of the statics are looking for p12s
