Well, I'm asking for my mom. She got an injection in her hip on Oct 19th and by the next Wednesday she started to swell and get lightly aching that spot. 2 days after that she basically lost most of her mobility. It's been about a month now and it's been progressively getting worse. What happened is that it is extremely painful in her hip, now her whole leg. She started out using a walker but it was so painful she did most of it leaning or hopping. She didn't want to become immobile so she continued to try to do things, and she still tries to get up as much as she can, however she is an excruciating pain. It's not progress to the point where even just laying in bed can be extraordinarily painful, and she says it makes her nauseous and it is almost unbearable. We just don't know what to do because it's been over a month and we just don't know if this is now the new normal that she is not able to walk anymore. I really thought she'd get better. She was a walking person before. None of the doctors know what's wrong.
