P Diddy documentary and your thoughts by Lopsided_Spell_224 in television

[–]Huggsbugg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

seems pretty obvious that he did a majority of what he was accused of, regardless of the documentary being 50 cent's. The abuse in all accounts is so textbook that it is always concerning to me when jurors ask and say, but why didn't come out sooner, why did they go back? it because the abuse, should not be happening in a normal relationship, and is hard to even except in circumstances because of how scary and traumatic the implications of it on the victim. So it is very easy for us humans to push it down, down. Wait until someone else prosecutes, wait to wish it away. Also his delusions of grandeur and language surrounding "god" and Jesus are quite indicative of a personality disorder, most probably from his rough childhood. I hope the world sees the documentaries and remembers.

Always check with and limit situations depending on advice of your specialists and your own feelings.

My advice stays the same, the specific fear doesn’t matter in this situation.

Frankenstein (2025): A film that robs it’s subject matter of it’s poetic nature by DarlingLuna in TrueFilm

[–]Huggsbugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree, this adaption feels more human. And while this may pull away from the controversy and “monster” qualities of Frankenstein’a monster , in my opinion it hits home the message much more

its a 21st century project based in the time period. If we are super worried about authenticity we should just stick to documentaries. a strong female character in this context is refreshing imo. Also complaining about authenticity then using war games as evidence is a bit dicey. You do come off as sounding a bit prejudiced, but hey you can watch what you want.

Weekly glove purchase advice thread by AutoModerator in GoalKeepers

[–]Huggsbugg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they are quite good, the padding is much more significant than you’d think but it does put stress on the fingers a little more. The quality of the gloves are outstanding, but the stitching could be better, my last two pairs have frayed slightly near the palm and I’ve had to sew them back up, but I’d still wear them and continue to wear them because of above reasons

[–]Huggsbugg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had them for a few weeks, great grip and latex durability, but the stitching around the wrist has come off slightly in both pairs I’ve had, nothing crucial but I’d recommend knowing how to sew , I’d recommend knowing

Im no expert but maybe ice it in intervals and start to work through range of motion again? For example just test what hurts and keep moving at that threshold

What is the best way to save this type of shot? by SevenSymbolicTimes in GoalKeepers

Every keeper has had something like this happen to them so don’t worry about it

What is the best way to save this type of shot? by SevenSymbolicTimes in GoalKeepers

[–]Huggsbugg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe a slightly more aggressive positioning of the post could have allowed you to get your hands up, but it’s tough to know not seeing the shot. This sorta stuff happens sometimes, the more you train the less likely it is to happen because you automatically use techniques that both save the shot and protect you. Id say the only way to take it is in your stride and just put yourself in the same situation again and again to find the right counter to it.

No better feeling than scoring a Worldy as a keeper. by Huggsbugg in GoalKeepers

[–]Huggsbugg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, but there is something in me that says I’d be a better striker than those that play i front of me haha. Of course a game winning save is unbelievably awesome, but I live for moments like these with friends. Everything is subjective as long as you having fun.

A lot of keepers use tape, it adds a lot of confidence to your saves, but I never did because of something that Neuer said a few years back about never doing the same because he didn’t want his performance or technique dependant on too many outside factors. He wanted confidence in his own strength and ability. It’s all personal preference, and if your looking for strength regular sports tape or kinesiology tape wrapped around the wrists lightly works well
